Wouldn't it be great if QVC Hosts could do a kind of standup comedy thing once inawhile - Rodney Dangerfield-ish........like "oh well then you'll be interested in our new hair weaves, coming out soon as seen on Valerie Parr Hill" - or - "our vitamin guy" (forget the name) "is peddling herbal SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM now - tune in for our NEW YEARS show on 1/2 @ 9:00...." - or - "you're gonna wanna see our Suze Orman "Pre-Nup/Other Legal Contracts For Idiots" show - stay tuned tomorrow @ 8:00 pm!!" ~ just a thought, ppatty

I hate these callers too. On New Years eve, Lisa M. had a bunch of weird callers, I felt sorry for her.

Even though there are QVC call centers in different parts of the country and the hosts have no control as to which calls get put through to them, don't you think that at their staff meetings the hosts must constantly complain about the idiot callers that DO get sent to them? Many of those calls are real testimony to the hosts' professionalism. Once they get off-air, though, I can just hear them complaining about one or the other stupid callers they had to deal with. How about the callers with the one-word answers (yes, no) and the hosts strain to get them to respond?!
