View Full Version : "Lisa Robertson" Fired For Having Sex On Airplane w/ Actor LOL!

I'm sure this is not "our" Lisa Robertson:

Qantas, Australia’s national airline, fired a flight attendant yesterday for supposedly having sex with actor Ralph Fiennes in a business-class lavatory. The firing came a day after Lisa Robertson’s confession of a romp with the Fiennes on a flight between Australia and India was published in British tabloids.

I'll bet the name confusion will cause the QVC host some grief.

To refute an accusation that I posted a "salacious rumor" (also, photo of Lisa in link):

I think that Lisa herself may find it funny if others tell her about it.

I heard the story on TV. I believe Keith Olbermann discussed it. So it certainly isn't a rumor. And the flight attendant has resigned.

I just finished reading a news article about the other Lisa Robertson. I think that our Lisa Robertson has more class than that.

Well, I don't know about that Septa. Ralph Fiennes is pretty classy!

Boy, that's a great way to end your career. Because you had sex with a mediocre actor in the loo. Fab.

Tooncey2, I think he's a really good actor. As the Nazi in Schindler's List.
As Charles Van Doren Quiz Show (good acting but I thought his try at an American accent never quite worked).

But I agree that a quickie in the restroom on an airplane while you are at work is not a good idea.

I'm with you, Hershey! Mediocre, he's not. I saw his Hamlet on Broadway a few years ago and, believe me, he is even more gorgeous in person. Not that I'd have sex with him in a bathroom...well, then again maybe I would!

I wish I could be the "fly on the wall" when Lisa finds out about it. She'll probably say something like. "Someone out there must think that I don't have enough problems with these mentally derranged stalkers that come my way" or something along those lines.

Here's something else funny. The former HSN hosts who worked with Lisa on QVC (Suzanne Runyan, Judy Crowell and Paul Deasy) will probably hear about it too as well as the QVC camp and probably do a "double-take" when they hear this flight attendant's name.

Imagine Lisa being off from work today and she's home watching a newcast when this story is mentioned. NBC-10 in Philadelphia will probably mention it because I checked their webpage for the story and found it.

I've met Ralph Fiennes while he was doing HAMLET on Broadway. Yes, he's good-looking, but there's a weird aura about him--not that I felt he was capable of getting a quickie in the can, but just a little menacing. He was also quite rude to Esther Williams, who was with me when we met him.

Dollypop, I've always thought Ralph had a "weird aura" about him too, even though I've never seen him in person. To me, that bit of weirdness keeps him from being handsome. I think he IS a good actor though.

Pandagirl, his escapades in real life keep me from thinking he's classy.
I think I read he cheated on his wife (that English woman from ER, Alexis Kingston or something like that - I don't watch ER) and then I did for sure read that he cheated on the beautiful woman he was living with for many years after his marriage - the one who was quite a bit older than he (can't remember now if his marriage broke up due to her or not). And reading now that his most recent girlfriend broke up with him because of his womanizing, as well as his encounter in the airplane rest room, makes me think he's not so classy, even if he is classy in his profession.

He left AK for Francesca Annis who played his mother Gertrude in that production of Hamlet. They stayed together for more than 10 years (that Hamelt was 1995, which just goes to show how time flies), but they aren't together now.

He is so immensely talented and since I am unlikely to ever meet him, I think I'll just continue to admire him from afar. And he continues to make great choices in roles -- well, with the excpetion of Maid in Manhattan and The Avengers.

I liked him in Maid in Manhattan, lol ...

I also liked him in Red Dragon ... very nice body! :-)

Airplane bathrooms are so tiny ... I don't see how people can have sex in there ... ???

Ralph Fiennes is actually one of my favorite actors, so this incident has left me really disappointed. I know we must learn the separate the actors from their personal lives and little "eccentricities", but this was so sleazy and SO opposite from the classic image he projects.

This is why it means so much to actually meet and spend a bit of time with a celebrity you've admired for years and find out that they are even more beautiful and gracious than you ever dreamed............

I think he is very handsome. I tend to go for untypical choices of handsome men anyway, ie: Christopher Noth.

RF just seems to have a certain coldness about him, something in his eyes. Still, he's a very good actor.

I go against the "norm" Hollywood pretty boys as well......George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck. I wouldn't walk across the street to see any of them.
Ralph Fiennes is so amazingly intense that it goes beyond sexy.
I also love Adrien Brody, a British actor called John Lynch and Josh Holloway from Lost........YOWZA

LL, it wasn't meant towards you at all. I was reading this post and was just amazed that it posted. Some of the threads you read on here just make you think, why would it be posted? But I guess I'm guilty of posting things that people may find strange.

So this wasn't meant towards to you at all. Sorry if you took it that way. Also, I didn't mean to offend anyone if I did. I was just expressing how I felt at the time.

Princesskv, I read about the Ralph Fiennes/ Stewardess incident several days before I posted this thread. I only posted it when I found out the name of the stewardess, which I thought was a funny QVC connection. If the stewardess, or I should be PC and say flight attendant, hadn't been named Lisa Robertson, I wouldn't have posted about the incident at all.
