I haven't seen Jayne in so long--she must be on mostly earlier in the day because she's not around much on Pacific time.

At the very end of the fashion Friday's morning show Jayne announced that she would be away for three weeks because she was going to have a hysterectomy. She said she was happy that she would finally be feeling better soon.
God bless you and good luck to you Jayne I hope everything works out fine and we will see you again soon.

I had that surgery many years ago so I speak from experience. If she thinks she's only going to be off for 3 weeks, she's kidding herself. It took me six before I had any energy back. Most physicians will tell you that it takes the body a full year to totally recover from major surgery. I sure wish her the best.

It is not nearly as invasive or debilitating as it used to be. 3 weeks sounds about right.

In today's world of managed care SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM, 3 weeks is probably all Jayne's SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM company will allow. You can get that extended but it takes cooperation on your doctor's part and a lot of paperwork. I think 4 to 6 weeks is probably the minimum recovery time and even then, it does take months before you get your energy back. I hope Jayne has a speedy and total recovery.

I agree with you, 3 wks is not long enough. Four to six wks, even 8 wks is even better.

LOL.....it's probably alot easier for her to manage. As far as her hysterectomy, I had a total hysterectomy about 10 years ago and it was done laparoscopic. I was out of the hospital in 2 days and back to work after 2 weeks.

I had the 'surgery' done about 10 years ago and was back to work in 4 weeks. At the time I was a cook in a university working on my feet on a cement floor and doing heavy lifting. I'm sure that Jayne should be able to handle her job just fine after 3 weeks. She will notice a big difference in her sex life tho, like she could care less!!!! Doctors never tell you about that side affect.

My sex life improved. No more PMS, cramps, period, or pregnancy worries.
I also had the laproscope and felt better fairly quickly.
I suppose each person's recovery will be different.

I love Jayne Brown's new short haircut. She looks younger and more fashionable. Also, she is one of the most "real" people on QVC. Doesn't seem fake at all. Her laughter is contagious. Also, I've seen her at times when she has gotten irritated with others. She just seems like a normal person.

Did Jayne ever have that hysterectomy...seems she was never gone. If she was I didn't miss her.

I totally agree with you on all points. I think with Jayne, "what you see is what you get" and that is alright by me! I also love Antwonella and Jill Bauer (sometimes Jill can irritate you with her voice but if she believes in a product, you can pretty much trust her opinion).

I agree; she looks great, always has. Jane Treacy is another story; not everyone can pull off that cropped look. Jane looked great when her hair was fuller and with a wave to it. Now she looks so harsh.

I also wish Jayne the best! If she has this laparoscopically, she could bounce back sooner than if she has the "big cut." Either way, it is major surgery having an organ removed.
I like her new haircut. I am sure she is so happy not having to spend so much time on it. Now, I wonder if Leah will follow suit.
As for JRT, I think the reason why I don't like her haircut is because it is so DARN DARK! Her skin is pale and that dark hair is just too severe. It draws attention right to her head. Okay, yes her ears are large, but she is very confident in the cut. However, with some lightening up, I think she would look much better. I don't like when she wears it so flat like a boy. She needs some lift in it. I saw her for some special show where she wore a gown and had her hair flat like a boy. It just didn't look right. It looked like she got dressed and ready EXCEPT for her hair.
