No we didn't, that's why we moved after being there a little after a year; it never felt like a place that we could call home.....

We are planning on our wedding at either Ft. Myers beach, Sanibel Island or Barefoot beach. Then it will be a huge reggae party with yard gnomes and mermaids.

We stopped in the Fort Myers area on the way back from Miami last year. I think it is a beautiful area. When is the wedding?

We are thinking of doing it this summer. I recently had to put my Mom in a nursing home as she had another stroke on Christmas day. We have some logistics to work out and whatnot.

I am so into flowers right now ( well I always am) but now I need the perfect flowers to carry for my wedding. I am leaning towards bird of paradise, tulips (my fave) iris or cala lillies.

My sister is getting married in Sept. she is leaning toward calla lilies also. They are beautiful flowers.

You could also try wrapping the stems as well / does well with thick stemmed flowers (just an idea) ? (could keep the flower fresh longer and avoid wilting; but you could contact a florist who would be more knowledgeable than I)
