Has anyone experienced any breakouts as a result of using this product?

Yes--it's not noncomedogenic.

It works fine for me if I don't use it everyday--just once or twice a week if I really want my make-up to hold up and not end up looking like a middle-aged teenager.

Yes ma'am!!

I ordered my first kit by Laura Geller this past winter, and while it was pretty nice, I can't use any kind of spackle or make up primer. If you have any type of acne issues, it's a no-no, IMO.

Thank you, ladies. After 6 months of Accutane a few years ago, I don't get breakouts. I started using the Spackle, and I've been getting whiteheads around the lower part of my face. That was the only change I'd made recently, so I thought that may be it. I enjoyed the result, but I can't deal with the blemishes.

Karen, here's another thing to stay away from.

Wexler's anti aging pink "serum". It has a very slick, silicone feel, and I was told that make up would glide on after an application. OMG, it felt so heavy on my skin, and I wound up with 2 blemishes by the end of the night.

I think for those of us who have any type of skin problems, less is best.

I've gotten breakouts from Spackle.....I use it sparingly and only when I'm going someplace special. I've started using M. Asam Perfect Teint from HSN.....so far so good. It kind of feels like a primer without the "too slick" feel of Spackle and seems to disappear into the skin but I can tell it's there. I like it much better than the silicone primers & Spackle so far. I break out from the constant use of silicone primers, too (I don't know if that includes Spackle??).

I think Spackle is silicone, but I'm not sure. It makes sense that they cause break-outs--they're designed to fill your pores. I see a positive difference when I use the stuff, but it's definitely not an everyday use product.

I thought Spackle was actually greasy. It broke me out also.

I use it every day and have had no problems with breaking out. The only complaint I have is it takes a little to long for it to dry.

You're so lucky! I wish I could use it every day--I love the way make-up goes on over it.
