Friday, May 18, 10:00 p.m. to Saturday, May 19, 1:00 a.m.

Saturday, May 19, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 19, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.




It's strange to me that they are there until Saturday because the Vicenza Oro Spring show is from May 12 to May 16.

I am waiting to see if Lisa does all of the shows and if she will have six different dresses!

You made me remember something, Dad123. Before Liberty Media came to QVC, Lisa used to fly to Italy and then go on her vacation after the Vicenza broadcasts. She would be gone for several weeks. I always wondered if QVC just delayed her return home to accommodate the personal time meaning that they still picked up the tab for her ENTIRE round trip air fare even though she was not traveling with the group for the entire remote. Now, it seems like she comes back with the whole gang. I guess we'll see!

I have to say that Lisa R. always looks drop-dead gorgeous when hosting these shows. Backdrops do too. I can't stand to watch gold shows for any length of time, but I do check it out when it's coming from Italy.

Why shouldn't they pick up the airfare tab? It's not costing anymore to delay her return flight. It's not like they are chartering a jet to go over.

In fact, I would hope (and I don't pay close enough attention) that QVC isn't paying a dime for airfare or hotels. They should be trading it out.

I saw her last night for one minute~ Dress was okay but as usual the HAIR was horrid. She's getting what my husband calls a "seven head"...... A forehead plus THREE.

QVC Fan - Why should they trade anything out? It's QVC's choice to go do a remote. It's their expense. Why would any hotel or airline give them freebies? What's in it for them? Nothing. What world are you living in?

They do not have to do a favor for anyone and if they travel as a group, they are not going to make a special consideration for one person. Those days are long gone. Sheila went to Italy and came back only to leave on HER vacation to Italy two or three days later. Talk about jet lag.

Yes, I know but I wanted to respond to QVC Fan. I do not understand the idea of trading. It just does not make sense to me in this situation.

The world I'm living in is reality. =). And I do plenty of television productions for a living. Trade out with airlines, hotels, rental cars are the easiest to do.

Freebies? No, that's why its called "trade". QVC gives them (X) number of plugs while they are over in Italy doing the production.

It's technically not costing QVC anything to put in the plugs during the shows. And it really doesn't cost the airline anything because they always have lots of empty seats. Same with the hotels. Instead of paying cash for the advertising they are giving product instead.

It's QVC, not The Price Is Right, QVC Fan. I understand the concept.

Obviously, QVC is not interested in making deals with other companies. They may not do what you are speaking of because they like to keep a tight hand on costs, for example. There are several reasons QVC could have to not do what you are suggesting.
