Why do I post only about once a month?

I'll tell ya. The venom that is being spewed between posters here is anathema to me. We are full grown adults just trying to have a little relaxation and fun. inevitably the fun comes to a screeching halt,and I retreat back to my little office where I am charged with counseling people with some pretty traumatic situations. This pettiness. This cattiness. It's so unflattering, and so unnecessary. I always told myself I wouldn't apply my therapeutic background to these little snits, but I guess I'm not as strong nor as patient as I thought I was. Once again. Negativity cannot thrive without being continuously FED. There is so much hatred in this world...why drop a load of it here, where the idea is to chill out? Anger is bad for the board, bad for us, and very bad for our immune systems.

It actually has been rather tame around here of late, except for the inevitable jostle now and again. Are you reading older posts, by any chance?

Believe me, it could be, and has been, a whole lot worse. JMO.

Cathy, I think you may be reading nasty old threads, like the Discord one????

I re-read it after Sammy bumped it, and cringed myself! LOL!

The purpose that I bumped that old "discord" thread was to show The Turdherder poster. Some QVC posters were mentioning or curious to when he posted on QVC. & one poster could not find him.

I did a "search" in QVC threads/forum on him and this thread came up in which he posted on. It certainly was not to start "discord" here.
