Commericials that make you laugh............

Heck, I am not even sure of some of the products they are trying to sell, I just think they are darn funny.
The lady in the checkout line in the Ikea store. She thinks the clerk made a mistake (in her favor) and she charges out the door yelling, get the car....
The guy who cleans the glass door and then runs into it, and the black birds perched on a tree are laughing......(I have done it before, LOL)
The father and son are outside and the father is trimming the bushes and ask where mother is. The son replys, internet shopping.....the father cuts the cable.
And then the SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM commercial always cracks me up. When it says if you have an errection for more then 4 hours then seek emergency treatment. I picture a guy on a gurnee in the hospital with a sheet over him and pikes peek sticking up!!!! 2 funny!!!

I also like the birds laughing when the man hits the clean door. I like the Gecko commercials but not hysterically. I love the Aflac Duck commercials. They are a hoot or should I say a quack. They're ain't no bugs on me puppy commercial is cute. erection lasting four hours needing medical help...duh?

I like the commercial for the music-playing Hallmark cards, where the guy starts dancing like M.C. Hammer. Actually, he could really bust a move! lol! The "ain't no bugs on me" commercial with the puppies IS adorable.

One commercial I can't stand?? The dumb-ass Geico commercials with the cavemen. Ugh!

Have you seen the one where the little boy yells to his mother, "Hey, Mom, look at Toby's new trick!" as the dog is scraping his butt across a white rug in the living room while mom is entertaining? It's a hoot! It's obviously an ad for a carpet cleaner.

How about the one where the guy opens the frig and checks out what is in the container and passes out on the floor, then the wife does the same thing....That's me!!!

Hah!! Yep, I love that one! And boy, can I relate! One of my kittys specializes in the "trick"! I scream every time........especially since we got new carpeting this year.

I've got another one that's cute rather than funny and the song is just SO stuck in my head, "There might be bugs on some of you mugs but there ain't no bugs on me." The ad for flea and tick control that I'm sure you've all seen. Those animals make me laugh. Ever notice the dog with the nurses' cap on? Gotta love those furry creatures.

A singing puppy gets me every time. I also used to love the one for SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM credit cards where the man from Eastern Europe was so impressed with his "crazy-fast" service.

I like the Verizon Fios commercials with the little boy and the cable guy (Actually, he's a Verizon Fios Tech). I don't know if those are national commercials or not. I guess they are. In the most recent commercial the little boy is telling his father all the technical stuff the Verizon Tech told him in the first commercial. It's really cute!

I had a cat that would walk from the litter box to the room where everyone was & THEN do it! She HAD to have an audience when she did it!

I can relate to the commercial because that's exactly what she did once when I threw a dinner party!

I like the one for the cell phone provider (I forget which one) & the guy is asking his roommate why HIS girlfriend is in his "fave 5's". He's going on about how you don't have another guy's gf in your fave 5's & the roommate his trying to calm him down, saying it's no big deal.

Then the roommate's phone rings with the SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM of Atlantic Starr's "Secret Lovers" & the other guys gf's name comes up on the screen that she's calling! The guys each see it & look at each other. Then the roommate goes "I'd better take this."

I howl each time.

What about the one with the Mom getting ready in the bathroom while she is applying her make-up...her little son is watching and then asks if he can borrow her lip balm again.

The Mom hands it to him and he leaves ...only to quickly return and gives it back to his Mom.

Mom asks ...."Are your lips dry & chapped again?"

Little boy: ...."No, the cat's rear end looked like it needed some again !"

I like the Raisin Bran commercial where the three guys are camping and talking about dreams they had about Raisin Bran. The one guy starts talking about how he and "Sunny" were out and then they did a little "ump-sa ump-sa, aaaaaa" and then he trails off and the other guys look at him like he's crazy. For some reason that cracks me up.

Also, I LOVE the "Ain't no bugs on me" commercial. Those dogs are precious.

I really like those Cingular commercials where the phone suddenly goes dead. There's one where a wife calls her husband to tell him she's pregnant and there's just silence! I laugh every time.

My daughter shares my particular sense of humor and sometimes I'll see an ad that I know she'll love, so I rewind and DVR it and save it until she's home. I have more fun watching her watch the commercial...

Actually, those spots were done by The Martin Agency, a Richmond, Virginia agency with a great creative reputation. But even more importantly, GEICO sales are way, way up. So they work. Which is what advertising is supposed to do.

We just got a quote from Geico and couldn't believe how much cheaper it is than the last SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM company we had. There advertising is paying off!!!
