Hershey

In all my years on bulletin boards, I have never seen as blatant attempt to fish
for compliments as this thread is. It is just screaming for people to say "oh,
no, Aunt Cathy you are so funny. Please keep posting." That was the point of
this thread, now admit it.

How sad is this cry for attention and positive reinforcement? I see a few
posters have fallen for it, and I am not surprised at who they are. If, in
fact Forensicat, you are some kind of psychological counselor as you claim to
be, surely then you recognize that this post of mine is true. You can bless my
little heart all you want, but I post the truth. In fact, every time you come
here and flood the board with new threads, comment on old and irrelevant ones
without even noticing that they are old and irrelevant because you are so out of
touch with what is going on here, and try to be oh-so-clever and funny, it's a
cry for attention. No psychology degree necessary to perceive that; it's pretty
basic and obvious. You have never offended me, Forensicat. I just speak my mind,
as do many people on this board, after reading enough posts that disgust me. I'm
sure you'll either go away for a while or keep flooding and craving attention;
sadly, there doesn't seem to be any happy medium.

There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications
until you visit the forum again.

ROTFLMAO!
Forensicat, why don't you actually take a moment to read my post and, more importantly, reflect on it rather than knee-jerk start yet another new thread to flood the board, draw attention to yourself, and fish for compliments? I really have a lot of sympathy for you and your need to be the center of attention when you come here.

Why are you so concerened with what goes on here? You "hate" this board don't you? You are so glad that you have elsewhere to post right? Why come here and start trouble and comment with what goes on, and with what is said if you don't care?

Hershey, please just back off from everyone. If you don't like what is in the pan, then get out of the kitchen. I honestly can't understand your snide remarks. Totally uncalled for. If you want to jump something, try a ship in the Atlantic ocean, but please don't wear a life preserver! Take a handful of lemon drops, 3 teaspoons of honey, along with a litre of coke. After you eat and drink all the sweets come back. Hoping that might cure your problems...... :D

Feel free to use the ignore button.

You have absolutely no credibility sueshe, having made your dramatic non-exit from here only to return a few days later.
Now let's see if you'll use that ignore button. And if not, then why not.
Don't like my posts? Skip 'em dearie.

I ignore you most of the time, as you have nothing nice to say to anyone. Buy every once in a while I like to read all the bull you give everyone. You must be very unhappy in life, it really shows in your posts!

LOL Think whatever you want to, sueshe. As I stated, you have no credibility with me.

And speaking of real life, are you as boring and inane as you are on this BB?

Hershey, would you just listen to yourself?

Read back through the archives. There have been many times when we've all been able to post together without all this friction. People are actually interested in your opinions and input. In fact, some people have been amazingly forgiving when the attacks stop for a while. People actually like you. I actually like you. Then you go off on one of these tangents.

You really are either someone who needs or professional help, or you're someone with a vested interest in stirring the pot to get this site as many hits as possible ($$$--Trevor in drag?). Either way, it would probably behoove you to stop bringing up "credibility" to anyone. Yours is shot.

Hi Mandy: I could not help but notice your little picture icon (I know that there's another name for these things!). Is that a Bichon puppy or a Maltese puppy? Are you the owner of either breed? Cute, cute, cute!!!

Mandy

That is a Maltese puppy. My Maltese is 6 years old now, but she will always be a puppy to me. (And a royal "pain" to her big sister, the Sheltie.)

Very cute, but mischievous. ;)

Adorable! How much does she weigh? My Bichon is about eleven years old, but for some reason, these small dogs seem to maintain their puppy cuteness.

I think she weighs about 7 pounds now. My first Maltese was an adorable little male furball. He lived to be 14 years old and everyone we met thought he was still just a puppy.

I missed him so much that I just had to get another Maltese. I play with her every day and even combing her silky hair every evening is so soothing and relaxing for me. Whenever I get stressed or upset about anything, she always seems to sense it and hops in my lap so I can pet her. It always makes me feel better. When they look up at you with those big brown eyes you just have to smile.

(I know.........she's not spoiled..........really.)

;)

Hi Dani :)

I looked up these descriptions from the AKC. (American Kennel Club) They look similar, although the Maltese is a smaller breed, in the toy category.

Maltese Breed Standard
Toy Group

General Appearance
The Maltese is a toy dog covered from head to foot with a mantle of long, silky, white hair. He is gentle-mannered and affectionate, eager and sprightly in action, and, despite his size, possessed of the vigor needed for the satisfactory companion.

Bichon Frise Breed Standard
Non-Sporting Group

General Appearance
The Bichon Frise is a small, sturdy, white powder puff of a dog whose merry temperament is evidenced by his plumed tail carried jauntily over the back and his dark-eyed inquisitive expression.
