Spaghetti-o's, not so much. But don't get me started on Froot Loops. Lack of nutritional value aside, they seem even better than when I was a kid.

Frosted Flakes cereal.

I haven't been a "regular" cereal buyer for years, and when I have bought cereal I stuck to the "grown up" kinds that are supposed to be good for you (yeah, right). Oh a whim I purchased Frosted Flakes recently and really liked them - just like always!

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!

And cereal. We could live on cereal in this house.

BTW, we keep our earthquake pantry stocked with Spaghetti-O's and the like--since we can't stand the taste there's no danger we'll deplete the supplies and be left food-less when the big one hits. (We figure if we go long enough without something to eat, even Spaghetti-O's will be palatable.)

tv dinners.. those were things my mom gave us as kids and I gave to my kids when being lazy and cheap..
But, been having them lately,.. perfect little portains of mashed pototoes and peas.. with a greasy slab of 'meat' or chicken. I wish they would make less fatty ones, but then I guess they wouldnt be .99cents would they

I'm with Acura on the chicken pot pies, so bad, but so good! Marie Callanders makes a pretty darned good one.

I agree with the MC pot pies ... major yummo!

My fave would be ... are you ready? .... Chocolate Malt O Meal (with lumps - you have to pour it especially fast into the boiling water). I could scarf that stuff daily as I love hot cereal!

Funny how cats love the salty stuff, huh?

You can't get olestra in Canada, but my son in law is from North Carolina. Every time he goes back home my husband makes him bring that crap back. My hubby is lucky, I hate potato chips, so he gets a treat and a colon cleaner at the same time. YUCK!!

Mashed potatoes mixed with corn :)
