Thanks for waking up our sleepy board!

So many threads, so little time...

And to think I took time off from my practice so I could find a little serenity!

Forensicat, do your clients in your practice (if in fact you have one) know what an attention-seeker you are? Next time you have a little time off, perhaps you should do some self-reflection as to why you crave attention so badly. You might also do some research about people who think they are clever and witty but who, in fact, aren't but need constant positive reinforcement.

I've been reading these messages, and I'd just like to say one thing--not to start any namecalling or nastiness, but just to point out something that should be obvious to us all: humor is a very personal thing. What's funny to one person is not at all humorous to another--it all depends. This is perfectly illustrated through TV shows and movies--some reviewers love a comedy, some hate it. Whether or not one person finds another clever or witty or humerous is certainly not worth posting in public--if you don't enjoy a poster's style, don't read anything by that person.

'nuff said.......

I couldn't agree with you more. And I've discovered a wonderful option on our User Control Panel. You can put anybody you wish on the "Ignore" list, and their posts never appear on your screen. Remember! The power to ignore is the power to banish the darkness from our quest for light.

Amen to that.

I personally don't drink, but I would never go into a bar and demand everyone else put their glasses down. I just don't hang out in bars.

When almost everyone else seems to be either: a) having a good time with the jokes and banter or b) moving on to posts of more relevance to their personal interests, I don't understand why some people find it necessary to dictate a code of conduct that everyone else must follow or become a target.

If the dictator in question would go back to starting threads that are of interest to her, and engaging in civil conversation with like-minded individuals, she might get more out of this board than she's getting by just dropping in with the occasional drive-by attack.

Just a thought.

Curvi, you finally articulated what I'd been trying to say all along. You're amazing.

Game Over.
