Someone on the BB got me interested about 3 years ago and I really enjoy collecting and learing about them.

I have in the past collected many Fossil watches and enjoyed wearing them all. The down side is that the batteries die, and when you have that many, it becomes quite a costly replacement fee.

I do! I do!

I have been collecting them for years, and have well over 50 of them.

I have a few "good" ones, including a Michael Anthony gold watch, but most of them are fun-type watches, such as Minnie Mouse, or holiday watches.

I'm always finding something different, like one I just picked up with the Raphael angels on the face. Funny tho.......at this point in time, I usually reach for the same ones.

Yankee got me started when she was here......I probably have around 80 watches....the Renato's are my newest venture......from ShopNBC.

I also love Invictas, Crotons and Sturhlings....not to mention Skaagen and the high end Geneve's. I just pull out the stem when I am not wearing them and it helps save on the batteries..............doodle

I heard that pulling the stem out can allow dirt to get into the watches. Who knows.....

I'm a collector, too...love the Invictas! I try to avoid the cheapos, because I have found that as far as watches are concerned, you really do get what you pay for--but sometimes, when I need something for a particular outfit or occasion, I will go for something in the Gossip line.

I'd love to get my hands on one of the diamond covered Invictas that are offered on ShopNBC. Tempting, very tempting. :D

Linda Lou,

I just purchased an Invicta from ShopNBC (sans gems) and it runs like a charm. Love the second hand! I ordered it on a Saturday, and had it by the following Friday here in Massachusetts. I was impressed by the delivery and the packaging--very nice!

Thanks for the review, Barbi! They do offer some very nice looking watches, but there's just something about the 1ct. diamond watches...........although it would probably end up sitting for long spells in one of my jewelry boxes, b/c it's not an everyday watch, for sure. Doesn't stop me from wanting one, however. :D

I was recently given a "Michele" Deco Diamond watch, and noticed that Lisa Robertson has been wearing the one I own on air. I cannot believe that QVC would allow her to wear a watch they don't even sell! I would imagine that Q gets a lot of calls asking about the watch she's wearing. She even had it on while doing a show with Judith Ripka! She gets away with a lot, I'll tell you.

Sorry for going off-topic for a bit~ Yes, I love collecting watches. A great one I did get from QVC was from Michael Kors.
