Where has he been lately?? Is he on vacation or a extended leave. He hasn't been on in the kitchen with bob lately.

David Venable hostged "In the Kitchen with Boob" yesterday, and at the start of the show said Bower-sucks was on vacation.

I agree, Vivvie, he's so dull and boring and uninteresting and unimaginative...and he has this "I know it all" attitude. Every show features at least one "When I had my restaurant..." comment. If his restaurant was such a huge success, why isn't he in it?

I am one of those people who found Bob Bowersocks a very interesting host. He could get me to buy the Brooklyn Bridge if it was up for sale. I hope he will be back on QVC and if not on another show where I could buy whatever products he is selling. Miss you Bob

He was part of the old guard and represented us babyboomers.......Kathy Levine was another. Too many drama queens now inhabit the channel.

Bob Bowersocks has been gone for months. He made an appearance saying he was leaving--family reasons, I think. It seemed quite apparent he was told to hit the road. The show is David's now and Meredith has taken over as the resident chef.
Seems like an improvement to me. I know a lot of people liked Bob, but he was a bit of a wind bag and carried on and on about things he did years ago.

I will take Meredith over Bob any day.

I miss Bob. i wish I had gone to one of his shows when he had the live audience. But I have a fear of flying, which has kept me from going a bunch of places. I've taken bus tours around the country, but one was an endurance test instead of a tour. But back to the subject. I agree with Qvsee. I'm a Baby Boomer, and we are being shown the door. Mary Beth turned 50 last month. Her days may be numbered. We'll see. But I thought Bob brought class to all of his shows. No yelling, just very knowledgeable about whatever he was presenting.

Bob was very knowledgeable--but the problem was (at least for me) that he never, ever let anyone forget it...

I miss Bob on the Sunday cooking show, but think David is filling in nicely.
I couldn't stand Bob on any othe type of show ... electronics, sampler, etc.

Bob worked better than a sleeping pill for me. His tone never changed. Not exactly Mr. Excitement.

Pebbles, that has always been my beef with Jill ... so monotone. She is a lot better these days (for me anyway).

At least David brings some personality to the show. I'm not convinced Bob had one of those. And yes, you're so right Jill is downright 'blah' about her presentations at times also, but I'll take her over Bob anyday.

Yes, she was very animated and smiling on the silver show. It was nice to see her enjoying herself. I have always liked her because she seems to be genuine. I can imagine striking up a conversation with her in a check-out line.

I don't think we have to worry about Mary Beth going any where.

I really had no feeling one way or another. He was all business and kind of stuffy but all the hosts used to claim he was a real kidder and practical joker. Maybe he should have showed that side to the public. I wish him well. He, like Steve Bryant(who also did nothing for me) do have talent. They just need to find another way to highlight it.
