I liked Star's new look, also. The dress not so much. It's interesting how now that she has lost the weight, she has drastically changed her hair, make-up and accessories. Her old make-up and wigs were a little over the top for me (as well as her ostentatious jewelery). I always thought she was a very bright, articulate woman. I also always thought she was very vain and overbearing -- I like the new and improved version. She seems more reserved and cerebral now.

I don't know that I agree that she should have said something before. Her surgery was her business -- and to tell or not, her decision. I don't think newspapers, "friends", etc. should divulge private matters for someone. I think if you are gay, have plastic surgery, gastric bypass, etc., it should be your decision to announce or not. I don't agree that the public has a right to know a celebrity's private business unless that celebrity feels comfortable sharing.

Well said Portia. I think Star said she had a medical intervention, so people probably assumed that she had a bypass or lapband process done. I always thought she was pretty and I think she looks wonderfull now. Didn't care for her dress today either. I noticed she didn't have her engagement ring on...just her wedding band.

Now that she has surpassed the "bug" look, she looks nice.

Hi Patty, I think she looks really good and seems to have changed a lot, I couldn't stand her before but enjoy her now :)

I've always liked her, for some reason. Saw her on LKL last night and I love the hair too. In that dress though, looking at her neck and shoulder area, she almost looks too thin. Otherwise, I think she looks great!

Saw her appearance on R&K, and LKL last night ... I'm so happy for her! She seems to have grown quite a bit (humbly) since leaving the View, but she is still Star. I LOVE IT! She looks great too (although, that dress on R&K wasn't the most flattering).

All the raggers on the View board might be happy to hear that Star herself said "she used to have too big of hair, too much make-up, too much jewelry". She has toned it down. I thought she has always looked great ... but now, even better ... she looks genuinely happy.

I look forward to watching her new show come Monday! :-)
