Way to go "justreading". You are exactly right!! This little group of "people" lead by the "beekeeper", are so misinformed. I have been an exec for a couple of shopping networks on their "hit list". It is a very difficult profession and the pressure is extreme. A host last a very few years due to the stress, pressure and comments of "bored old women" like the beekeeper. It is about time that someone replied to the constant dung on this website.

I am proud to be an American ... where I have the right to voice my opinion, especially on an OPEN on-line board such as this! :-)

If the hosts can't last because of comments of the viewers than they shouldn't be in the profession. I've seen the same JTV hosts for the eight years now, so the fact that they don't last isn't true at least not at JTV. But do these host last so long at JTV because they are good or it's the only talent that is willing to work there. I think it's the because these are the only clowns, except for a few exceptions, that JTV can get to work for them. When a good host does actually come along they don't last long because the old hosts have so much power, apparently, in the company that they run them off, and they wind up at another network that doesn't force the same old sorry script that all the hosts must follow. We are told that the shows are unscripted but I think that's a crock. All the hosts say the same thing and if they vary at all, like Shawn Diddy did and Dennis Dan's they are fired or run off. It would be interesting to see how many application JTV get's. Remember last year when they had that "talent search across the nation...how many new hosts did that produce...I don't think any because all the new hosts they've brought on have already been with JTV for awhile in the phone center or the came, and left from Shop at Home.

You must enjoy the circus. You seem to be an expert on clowns. And isn't it interesting that as much as you hate these "clowns on air" and the fact that the company just can't get real talent, you still watch. It is amazing that you even have time to watch. I am sure your calendar is full with your accepting personality. Maybe you ought to try missionary work. You obviously care a great deal for people.
