I actually have a soft spot in my heart for Barry, and I'm not convinced he necessarily knew exactly what he was doing when he allegedly was doing it (these guys are given supplements by their trainers all the time, with a "trust me" wink-wink)...I like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but that's my nature.

Whatever legal difficulties he's facing, it looks like I'll get my wish that he retires as an SF Giant. I don't think another team would touch him at this point.

(And no, I'm not buying the bear even on clearance; I have the Bobble-Head!)
