QVC Yellow Shipping Bags!!!!!

OMIGAWD People!

I opened my porch door the other day (how I enter my house) and was overtaken by such a strong smell of plastic and something NOT healthy! I was thinking 'WTF' when I noticed a yellow Q bag in front of my interior door that the UPS guy left. I picked up the bag and the smell was terrible! A very strong, plastic - if not TOXIC - order came from this packaging.

After opening the bag, trying on the item and deciding it wasn't for me, I turned the bag 'inside out' to return it and the smell was even worse!

Has anyone else noticed the gawd awful smell from these bags? Where are they having them produced? The Q is obviously NOT GOING GREEN!

Yes, the yellow bags I receive stink really bad. Some of the clothes smell really bad also. I also hate the dirt from the UPS trucks all over my pkgs.

If you think UPS has dirty trucks, get something delivered from FedEX. Packages are filthy, crushed or significantly bashed in, and smell of cigarettes. When I order merchandise, I specifically state that FedEx is not to be the carrier.

Anyone know where those bags are made? The smell of them reminds me of some little plastic Made In China doodads (spider rings, skeltons, etc) that I got this past Halloween that I was going to stick in my favor bags but ended up throwing out because they were so noxious I felt they were probably toxic...possibly the lead in the dye. It's scary how much toxicity we probably soak up in our bodies every day from just little things like that.

The KVZ # (A57957) wallet I purchased in 2006 smell like chemicals. (and I gave one as a gift) The nasty smell won't go away. I tried to cover up the smell with baby powder. I have smelled other KVZ bags at my local Ross store and they have the same bad chemical smell from the plastic. Anyone else have this problem with her fake leather bags?

Those yellow plastic bags really do reek. I notice if you buy a clothing item from HSN or ShopNBC, they come in grey plastic bags that never smell like that. Yellow and stinky must be cheaper for the Q!

I rec'd a NEW (design and style) box from QVC that I have never seen before. So, maybe they are changing their packaging....we can hope!

I haven't noticed the bags but I ordered a pearl and diamond ring for DD for her graduation present--it arrived today (UPS). In a grubby, grimy padded envelope, thrown on my doorstep (which is just steps away from the sidewalk, and clearly in sight). I found it when I got home. When I turned it over to open it, there was a very clear oily black shoeprint on the back side.

The inside box is messed up but I was going to put it in something nicer anyway--still, I'm not happy with the way it was handled.

Curvigirl - Notify UPS, they probably will want to know this, unless it was delivered USPS. One time UPS stood in my yard and threw a box onto my porch, it hit my front door rather hard. I was startled. I reported it. Now they are more careful. We have actually become friendly with the UPS guy. My husband sometimes talks with him for quite a while. He's very friendly.

I can tell you one thing, if you want to know what is going on around the area you live in........ask your UPS person. They know EVERYTHING!

I whined to my neighbor who works for UPS, but I guess I probably should mention it to someone who actually could do something about it ... !
