afford a $836,218.00 home like Lisa Robertson. You could do a public search of home records in the West Chester area and find out what the hosts paid for their homes and where they are currently living.

I'm sure she probably makes plenty, but where I live lots of people buy $850,000+ -with no down payment, interest-only loans, and their payments are very reasonable.

For about 36 months.

(They'll be in SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM soon and actually sleeping in their cars--but, hey.)

Same in my area. To pay 850,000 for a house is not unheard of. It depends on what part of the country you are from. Rents for a decent 1 bedroom apartment go for about $1100. I know in other parts of the country you can rent a three bedroom home for half that. I'm in Southern California.

this is why i cant live in Los Angeles. My boyfriend lived out there twice and loves it, but you can't make any roots unless you are a millionaire. It's just not worth it.. renting forever is not my idea of a good idea.

The host make a fortune but nothing compared to the higher ups. Q makes billions of dollars in profit and they all get thier share. Visit the studio sometime and check out the parking lot! YOu can be sure they all have six figure incomes. No worries.

The sad thing is I bet the majority of customers are bankrupt from compulsive /impulsive buying due to mental illness. Plenty of posters here have mentioned it. There was an actress Delta Burke, I think, on a TV interview talking abnout her fight with mental illness and how she has STORAGE SHEDS full of items she purchased through QVC and EBAY. You can hear callers sometimes who also diplay the emotions of mentally ill people. Most are lonely and look to QVC for companionship. They get caught up into believing the hosts are their friends. I'm sure that is a big part of the marketing strategies. But hey , the Q is no different than any blood thirst, moneyhungy good old american business. it's what we were founded on.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. So many elderly sit at home without companionship or family that cares. I didn't realize Lisa R. owned such an extravagant home. Can't, you imagine the walls echo? Yes, I realize that she makes great money, but it may be, her only comfort in those golden years. The mirror won't be her friend!

My UPS guy said there is a woman who lives near me with a garage full from QVC & HSN, and maybe other places. He said every few months her daughter comes to visit, calls UPS to pick it all back up, unopened. He said they just throw the boxes in the garage when they deliver it, and they have to pick it back up & send it all back when it is requested. I asked him if there is a cost to the lady and he said no. I guess they can't close her account, or deny purchases. ?? Sad, really.

$800k is alot to me for a home, but it is rather normal these days. I think it takes about $175k - $200K salary. Just an estimate. When a new car cost 4oK+ easily, you have to make alot of money.

Yo, Purell.

You have a lot of gall posting a website in order to find Lisa Robertson's house! Anyone with half-a-brain could look up the Chester County website and do a search. Why goad a sicko to do it? Secondly, what sane person gives a rip where Lisa lives? She deserves to be left alone in privacy. One can only imagine what she went through.

Right On Ya Ya. I See Qvc Requires Reservations For Host Meet & Greets. I Don't Think That Was Always The Case. I Was Looking For A Weekend Getaway To Include The Qvc Tour. I Did One Years Ago And It Was Fun. That Area Of West Chester Is Close To The Brandywine Area(home To Andrew Wyeth & The Duponts) There Are Lots Of Things To Do And Some Friends And I Were Interested In Going To Lancaster As Well. Anyway I Don't Think You Needed A Reservation To Meet A Host And Shake Their Hand. Evidently Lisa's Stalker Showed Up At A Meet & Greet. At Least They Are Keeping Tabs On Who Comes Around. Same Thing With The Idiots Who Call And Say Stupid Things. They Know Who You Are By Your Ordering Info.

As I Said That Area Is Really Beautiful Although The Q Itself Doesn't Seem To Be In Too High End Of An Area. It Is Off A Major Route In A Small Community In A Somewhat Industrial Complex. I Do Believe It Is Close To What Is Considered The "main Line", Home To All The Blue Bloods And "old Money" Maybe That Is Where Lisa Aspires To Live But Can't Afford A Multi Million Dollar Home. The Cost Is All Relative To Where You Are And What Types Of Industry And Jobs Are Available In You "hood" Hopefully The Host Make Enough Money To Make Is Worth Their While Having To Put Up With The Likes Of Us!

why would lisa jump from a 3 bdrm condo worth 200k to a 830k house? that doesn't seem right. I know Jill lives in Malvern. Her house is fairly modest.
