Seems like no one really talks/cares about it much these days (not that I blame 'em!)...though apparently there were a few small fireworks on the show when it came to McCain vs. Obama (I'm sure there's many more arguments to come)

wow....sometimes I don't know why Elisabeth doesn't sock Joy in the mouth....Sherri and Whoopi have respectful conversations but Joy is ignorant.

Joy is beyond ignorant.

Elisabeth is great!!

NOW...

Joy is the biggest liability to the View...

BABA, being a close runner up... But that is moot... When Babs goes, so goes the View...

;0))

I used to like Joy....but sometimes she says things with no basis or fact ...just rambles on, and she is pretty insulting to both Sherri and Elisabeth....she seems a bit nicer now to Sherri because Sherri likes Obama. In the past I have heard Sherri stick up for George Bush and Joy treated her like a moron.

I love the show so much more now, that there isn't all of the drama! IMO, Whoopi brought the show back to a somewhat normal place. She doesn't let anyone get out of hand ... which is what the moderator is supposed to do.

I like all of the ladies at the table, but hate it when Babs is there. She takes forever to tell a story and always has to "catch us up" on everything, as if nobody has ever read a newspaper or watched the show ... grrrr!

ITA about Babs. She can bring the show to a screeching halt.

Hi Dani...missed you here this past few days.

I use to like Elisabeth, but as time went on, she drove me nutzo too. Yackity, yackity, yackity yack...sheesh!

Take a breath Elisabeth!!

She has to talk fast, otherwise the others don't let her finish a sentence - when it's politically related (if you saw yesterdays show, you'll know what I mean. She even commented about it).

I don't mind her getting a point in, but she has that high strung child not getting their own way voice..she reminds me of a big baby, and I find her extremely judgemental.

and when she uses those stupid compairisons..

like "pretend you are playing football" makes me puke in my own mouth.

Oh and if Barbara tells that damn story one more time about her Grandmother's sex life!!! She said the story on every interview and I don't know how many times on the View.

I'm a conservative, but I find Elisabeth a little overboard with it.

I DO realize she has to talk over everyone and has to hurry up with it. I remember when I use to watch the show and she barely got a word in edge-ways when Rosie was there.

I believe that Elisabeth has high standards and I do not find her to be any more judgemental than the rest of them.

Elisabeth is beautiful, smart and articulate, when the others let her finish a sentence.

I don't care what she looks like lol I don't make my opinion of her on whether she is beautiful or not.

Smart? not so much IMO

We've heard every Babs story ... at least 5 times ... drives me nuts!

I think they are all judgemental ... at times ... in different ways.

....and to be in NYC with a topheavy liberal audience...must be tough for her. Then she has to go outside and the new yorkers shout stuff at her. I've seen it on film. I don't know how she puts up with it...she is as much entitled to her opinion as the others.

I love that Elisabeth has high moral standards and is not afraid to speak up about them. She is like a breath of fresh air amongst the rest of the panel.

I do like Sherri most of the time. She also will speak up about her faith and standards.

Bill Geddie is a Republican too, so she has him to back her up (behind the scenes I'm sure).

I love it when the audience applauds for Elisabeth (not that I always/ever agree with her, but she should have her say just like the rest of them). It doesn't happen very often, and last time Whoopi even commented about it ... kinda funny.

Why doesn't anybody ever comment about Sherri's ridiculously stupid comments (I posted at the same time as you SavhLaney)? Shes hides behind being a comedienne, but its very clear she rarely knows what she is talking about ... especially when it comes to politics!

I am a New Yorker and not a liberal. Manhattan has a lot of tourists visiting, some of the audience of The View and R&K are from out of state.

Many of my friends here in NY are conservative, the suburbs are too.

If I were sitting in the audience and I heard Joy make one of her remarks I would boo her, (Then get ejected, lol).

I like and admire Elizabeth, she is getting better at keeping her emotions out of the discussions as Whoopi does. I hate arguments.
