Earlier he cited his father's birthday speech in which he said anything IS possible in this country if you work hard for it... He proved it in his life after coming to the US at the age of ten, and Obama pretty well added the exclamation point... (paraphrasing again).

I have to honestly say I'm glad I watched it... (Surprised me, lol...)

Apparently that panel is a weekly feature? I may have to tune in on Fridays...

I think I read that as well. I dunno, the talk show scene will feel pretty weird without Oprah around anymore. As egoistical as she is, she is probably one of the few classy programs on daytime TV.

As for me, I go through phases with Oprah. Sometimes I watch, other times I pass. I guess it depends on the topic.

Here are my shows and they are not torture- Survivor, Amazing Race, Law and Order ( original) Law and Order SVU, Grey's Anatomy- well I watch a few others, but these are must see tv

I record Oprah every day, but don't always watch. Many of her topics bore me, especially the make-over shows.

I watch too much tv. When I'm home, the tv is on, for noise or I'm actually sitting there. The View, Project Runway and Grey's Anatomy are my fave. Closely behind are Survivor, DWTS and American Idol, although I have to admit the last two are getting a little boring for me. I tape Ellen every day ... but have to admit that I fast forward thru a lot of it (the games bore me).
