There has been a lot of talk since as early back as february that Barack Obama will appoint Hillary Clinton on the supreme court. I frankly am not betting on it to happen, but nothing surprises me anymore. lol

So I'm wondering what everyone thinks about it.

Do you think it's a good idea or a bad idea ?

I don't know think so...but who knows. She's a politician by nature, my guess is she will live out her career in the Senate...

Oh Jinh, I don't think it will happen either.
But Assuming he does put her on the supreme court, or that it is true, what do you think.

Good idea or Bad idea ?

I would like to see our Surpreme Court Judges have some bench experience... It's an amazingly important job... A background in constitutional law would be a major plus...

Unless the nominations are for strictly political reasons to advance the Liberal agenda from the bench, I don't think she's qualified by any means...

Oh boy...I just don't know. I can't 'see' her there, so it's hard...I would say bad idea, for one, because she might have a hard time getting confirmed.

Nope, she loves the 'freedom' of politics, she loves people...I can't see her spending the rest of her life like that.

<<<I don't think she's qualified by any means...>>>

Well that didn't stop Obama.

And so is the Presidency, and again, that didn't stop him.

So, I'm thinking it's a given, if she accepts, HRC will have a new job.

Personally, I think it's a bad idea, she's way too liberal for the bench.

I think she would be very happy to continue as a Senator.

True, G...

But I think the Justices are even more important... LOL, presidents come and go at the whim of the public, but the Justices are there "till death do us part", if they so choose....

It is apparent to me, though, from his history (short as it is) that BO will try to appoint the most liberal judges he can get away with... He can claim he's going to govern from the center, but I'm not gonna believe it till I see it, and then probably not, LOL...

His Chief of Staff is a good example, already...

Rahm Emanuel was a good pick, PK...in spite of what Fox and the 'freaking falling off the planet' right says...

Seriously, there are a lot of respected Republicans saying Rahm is a good man and a good choice...

Get your noses out of the piles in the yard - yuck!

I don't think Hill wants it.

I would vote no, because I also think there would be better qualified candidates. Her aspirations seem more political than judicial to me.

Holy cow, Jinh...

My information came from AP, NOT Fox News... OR the "freaking falling off the planet" right!

Discuss the man... He is reputed to have been very partisan and a real "in your face" person when dealing with Republicans. He may, or may not, do well in that position, where I would think a certain amount of "tact" would be necessary...

I will counter your "Get your noses out of the piles in the yard - yuck", with get your nose out of BO's ass, if you really want to play that way... Though I prefer to avoid the grosser insults, I can do it..

I don't care how many respected republicans YOU reference (without sources, even), I choose to make up my own mind, as I have stated on MANY occasions... You profess no one is swayed by Celebs, yet you seem to think that if ANY republican thinks a certain thing, the rest of us should simply fall in line... To that I say YUCK!

;0))
