Mine absolutely HAS to be the Rowenta lady--she keeps steaming along with this iron that looks as if it weighs a ton--all the while telling me how much I'll enjoy ironing with a Rowenta. I have some news flashes for her: I don't enjoy ironing. I never have and I never will. Ironing clothes is a huge waste of my time. I pay a little extra for clothes that just pop out of the dryer wrinkle-free. For emergencies and touch-ups, I have a teeny little steam travel iron that weighs about a pound and does collars and cuffs on my kitchen counter. I don't want a Rowenta--and I'm sick of her standing there with a grin on her face acting as if ironing is all she lives for!

I've had a Rowenta iron for many years and am very happy with it. It doesn't weigh a ton. In fact, it's quite light.

My least favorite vendor is the Lock and Lock lady. She seems to be shaped like a huge up-ended shoebox and her sense of style is as far off as her youth.

I think the Lock 'n' Lock lady has a rather porcine look...

You ladies are too funny!!

Regarding Rowenta, I am always tempted to order the clothes steamer but it seems that the woman only steams very thin fabrics like silk, etc. They tend to steam out the wrinkles easier. I never see them do thicker fabrics like cotton shirts. I was thinking about getting the Tobi but I read some neg reviews on that one.

I've been tempted by the steamer, too--mostly to save professional costs on pressing my lined draperies--but you're right, I never see really heavy fabrics hanging on her racks of clothes...

A person's size doesn't bother me, so the Lock and Lock lady is OK. But the one vendor that really gets to me is Susan Graver. I cannot stand her swishing all the time. She always grabs her clothes and swishes them all around.

Another is Stan Herman. Why does he have to "feel up" all the models?

The woman who represents Kitchenaid products. She has that sorta Howdy Doody look with those very high cheek bones. She's very nice.

I know what you mean about Susan Graver swishing her legs. I'm not really sure why she does that. The only thing I thought of is that she wants people to see how nicely the skirt or pants she's wearing falls on the body. She seems to be very aggressive in her selling tactics and I suppose it's working if she's still on QVC, but I find it irritating at times.

Besides Susan Graver, who is THE most annoying--hands down, the other annoying lady is the one who sells "TIPS", the nail strengthener/hardener. Though I haven't seen her in a while, now that I think of it. She's the one who constantly taps her nails on the surface to show how strong they are. I turn her right off. Has anyone seen her lately?

I have a Rowenta and I love it. Hate ironing but if I have to iron, I prefer using the Rowenta as it does make ironing easier.....meaning it gets the wrinkles out. :)

As for the most annoying company rep? Hands down our lovely Polyester Princess Ms. Susan Graver. She is enough to send me running for the SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM.

AGree with all of the above, and have to inquire as to how the breezies ladies (mom and daughter) have not been mentioned yet? Because there are just too many irritating reps?

ok ... susan graver is a gimmee. that voice and oh so relaxed attitude feels like nails on a chalkboard to me. akkk. the other is the 'not n lock' lady. she really bugs me ... why does she wear a chef's coat EVERY TIME she is on. it really bugs the h**ll out of me. she is selling plastic wear NOT food! i would never buy that crap - at least not from the Q. the food storage containers i buy (glad etc) work just as well for me and cost a fraction of the cost of her 'stuff'.

ok - i'm in a bitchy mood ... we are all allowed that now and then right?!!?

on a more cheery note ... hope you are all enjoying your prep for the holidays ... i am!

Is anyone keeping score on these vendors? It seems as though Susan Graver and Miss Lock and Lock are tied for "Most Annoying"!

I just don't like that Citikinits gal. The other Citiknits gal from a few years ago was great. The current one is just too perky about this stuff.

Purr....I lost it when I read this. Too funny!! I used to have a Howdy Doody hand puppet when I was little so it really made me crack up. I'll add Christina Carlino from Philosophy to the list. She just seems like a real biotch and cold as ice.

I didn't bother to list Susan Graver, simply because I thought she held the Most Annoying Honorary Title for Life! I can't imagine how horrible it must be to host a show with her constantly interrupting--but, can you imagine living with her????

Lori Greiner and Paul 'R' (guy that does a lot of the camera presentations) are towards the top of my list. How many different jewelry boxes can Lori possibly come up with?? Paul 'R' seems to be on every other day with some kind of camera this or keychain that!!
Citiknits gal and Susan Graver also bother the crap out of me, the Q may as well save some money on host salaries when those two ladies are on because the hosts can't get a word in anyway.

In general i find all of them annoying and don't see the point of the majority of them being on,when the host at one time where more than capable of giving us the same information that they do.I think the presentations where also better and more personal when the host did them without any help.

Put if i would have to pick one product rep it would be The Facial Flex Facial lady that i find the most annoying.Whatever product she is representing she starts flexing, plucking or shaving as soon as the camera comes on.She has to have a serious hair problem the way she's always plucking or shaving around her face.

Definitely Susan Graver.

Also, he may be a great man but I can't stand watching Kenneth Jay Lane, and listening to him hack up a lung 5 times an hour!

I find the guy that brings the Kennedy jewelry annoying too, arrogant. Same with the guy that subs for Kenneth Jay Lane.

I find Nolan Miller's partner very creepy and don't enjoy watching him at all.

Susan Graver is still topping my list, and I don't even watch the apparel shows. She's just ridiculous!

Susan Graver, without a doubt. Loath the woman. Bob Warden is a close second. Just looking at him gives me the creeping heebies. My favorite vendor = Dennis Basso. Love that man, love his voice.

I agree with the fact that, except in cases where a great deal of technological knowledge is required, these company reps shouldn't even be on the air. We, the viewers, are too dumb to figure out how to turn a fryer on and off? Too stupid to read directions to operate a crock pot? Oh, and too challenged to use Tri-Oral breath rinse without someone leading us through it? C'mon--maybe if you're spending $2,000 for a computer or a camera you might have some questions a host couldn't answer...but a rep to show us how Breezies wisk moisture away from your skin? QVC should get real...

Virginia Peterson Olson passed away some years back, I believe it was cancer but cannot confirm that. I remember Bob taking a moment during ITKWB to make the annoucement. She had not been on for a time....it was sad. I liked her and all her helpful hints. I have 3 Nescos and love using them.

Happy Holidays all!

That, and a major drama queen, too. Watch how she HAS to overexaggerate all sorts of personal things that happen to her which somehow tie in to whatever product is being shown at the moment. Like bubble bath or something. "Oh, I get so stressed, and the only thing that will calm me down is a nice long bath with some of this... (insert product here)"

All right, I'll stop posting but I wanted to get my two cents in. I distinctly remember a time when QVC didn't have vendors on for practically EVERY item they were selling. Hosts and hostesses had to use the power of their own imaginations to help sell products. They didn't have to rely on a vendor to help talk about the product even more than they were.

The blue cards that the hosts always have must have some kind of description of the product other than the item number and name of the product. Did imagination and overall experience get thrown to the wayside or something?

I'm sorry, but QVC doesn't need to have the vendors for JEWELRY on. Come on, get real. You mean to tell me that the host can't present the items without the vendors' squawking every two seconds? I guess this will lead me on to name my least favorite vendors.

Dara Lynn for Philosophy and the KitchenAid lady bug the hell out of me. If anyone caught the philosophy show the other day with Patti and Dara, you may know why I say this. Now, we know Patti is a flippin' fruitcake these days on the air, but you could tell she was getting irritated with Dara Lynn CONTINUALLY talking over her while she was trying to present the items on air. Patti couldn't get a word in edgewise while Dara kept flapping her big mouth. This isn't the first time this has happened with Dara, and I've seen it occur with other hosts.

Now, I just don't like the KitchenAid lady because her voice is high, grating and very screechy. It'd be nice if she just kept her mouth shut, and let Bob Boobersox (or whoever) talk about the mixers, or food processors, etc.

I personally think QVC needs to downsize their vendors and get rid of a lot of different lines of products (except for their highest selling lines, like philosophy and Bare Escentuals, etc.). Most of the vendors, IMO, can take a hike!

That's what i was meaning about the presentations being better when the host(s)did everything. The majority of time the host(s)will say the same things that the guest(s)will about the item.

Some of the jewelry shows with a guest they've the camera back so far you can't tell what the item is,without looking at the graphics when they show the host and guest.

I'm not sure what you like to be called the13thtun...but I'm glad I gave you a good laugh. It's all about how we see people in a different light. What bugs one person may not even phase someone else. Like someone on hear loves Dennis Basso's voice, and I have to turn the channel when he's on. lol!!

I was cracking up this morning when Susan Graver was on and she was really shaking her legs like she had spiders crawling up her legs and she was trying to shake them off. lol!! She even had Rebecca, the model, doing the same thing. lol!!!

Candyapple, I'm not really sure who Stan Herman is. Is he the guy on HSN? There's someone on HSN, I think he's a doctor, and he really gets touchy feely with the models who wear the undergarments. It's actually soft porn imho.
