Are their meats USDA prime, choice, select, or standard? I sent an email to QVC's customer service and asked this question and never got a reply. I tried to post this question in the comment section for the K-C-S I'd ordered and got an email that my comment "did not meet" their guidelines. Every side of beef has a USDA stamp so it shouldn't be a mystery when you buy meats. I can't help but think that QVC is hiding something - like maybe they are selling a "select" cut of meat for a "prime" price??

I don't know the grade--but before the Q's shipping and handling went through the roof, I had Kansas City Steaks, and they were absolutely delicious. The segment where the guy cuts them with a fork was absolutely true. My husband is a meat-aholic, and he couldn't get enough...

From kansascitysteaks.com

Bring home the flavor of the finest restaurants! Serious grill masters know that USDA Prime means quality. Only the top 1-2% of all beef can be labeled USDA Prime and we call ours Private Stock. This sought-after rating ensures that your steaks will be tender, juicy and bursting with flavor. Every one of our Private Stock sirloins, ribeyes, filets, porterhouse and strip steaks are certified USDA prime.

Apparently it's not all of their product, just this "private stock" line.
