Is Paul Deasy back at the Q?

I was perusing the latest Q program guide and I looked ahead to some of the shows coming up in January 2009 and what should I see but a special week of gem shows...

These aren't ordinary gem shows as there are quite a few that are going to feature some very fancy gems (rose blush garnets, Santa Maria aquamarines, pink sapphires, etc.). The reason why I ask if Paul Deasy is back is because when he used to work at QVC, he was the one responsible for bringing in all of those sharp, rare gem shows and getting in all those really fabulous (but very expensive, usually) pieces.

When I saw those shows, I put two and two together. I know that his no-competition clause for HSN probably hasn't expired yet which would explain why he would not be back on the air as a host... I had heard a rumor awhile back that he was coming back to the Q strictly as a vendor instead of a host.

Can anybody positively confirm or deny if Paul is back with QVC?

I hope not. He was a good host,very knowledgeable on gems but JRT is a train wreck and you really can't go home again. They need some fresh hosts with personalities who aren't full of themselves like the present crew. Paul would be a good gem speSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMt but not a full time hosts.

If you checked out his web site, you would find that both he and Judy have no intention of being on-air hosts. If they come back to television sales, it would be as the guest, presenting their product.
Go ahead and post a question, either he or Judy will reply.

I have always imagined Paul and Judy in a situation like Shop NBC has with the Gems at large couple. He sure has access to some killer gemstones and could design with Judy or hire an artistic team.
