I'm in and out and in and out all the time also. Don't let any dust collect on me just on everything in my house. I read, post and go off to do something else, then I am back catching up on reading, posting and then away to games or facebook.

I really need to take 24 hours and turn this totally off and clean my house. But then.................it would just get dirty again and then I would have to clean again so I might better just leave it alone. When Ted starts writing me messages in the dust then maybe I will clean it. I have a church meeting here on Feb 8. Guess I will have to do something about it by then. Make them all think that I am "Mrs Merry Houskeeper".

The other night I got up to pee, went back to bed, trying to get back to sleep, I discover hubby is farting in his sleep! It was AWFUL...I had to get up (gagging) and get some spray stuff out of the bathroom...it was just more bad than anything - yikes!

OMG last night....(I thought of this thread!) Hubby was in the shower, and at lunch yesterday one of the crew leaders made chili....

(I was standing outside the bathroom door folding towels)

Well, after about 5 minutes or so, I decided that I couldn't listen anymore and I was going to go in and check on him, and maybe peek at him naked....well, I opened the door and was

PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED BY A BARRAGE OF ODORS UNKNOWN TO MANKIND !!!!!!

Not sure why, but the heat and steam from the water amplifies that crap like no other. I said, "OH MY GAWD, ERIC, I AM GOING TO CALL A PRIEST!!!"

Bar soap is nasty...I hate the idea of using someone elses leftovers to wash with ...ick

I found it on the map. It is right by the St. Regis Reservation. I imagine that the SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM is on the reservation. That is not far from where my daughter went to college. She went to St. Lawrence University in Canton NY and did some student teaching on the reservation.
It is approximately a 4 hour drive for us. That would be a nice overnight or weekend trip and I could stop off and see Pal. Whoopee, now all I have to do is convince the hubby.
Actually I could probably drive up there by myself if I had to without any problems. I used to drive it up and back when Amy was in school there. It is kind of basically country roads the way I would go.

I live in the foothills of these mountains and they are so beautiful. In the fall they are alive with color and there are many, many lakes tucked in between the mountains. I think the best way I have ever heard our beloved Adirondacks is "It"s God's country".

I never have things like that pop up missing with my daughter (well, except some makeup or something coming up missing)......but my son didn't think anything of taking off with one of my pans or something. They were always "camping" and he had more of my kitchen stuff at Smith Pond then I did in my own house, lol.

I am a multi-tasker too, just got done with some yard work, have a load of laundry going, the dishwasher is going.

No, not yet with the camera. Circuit City only had two tables out with odds and ends merchandise, suprised they were open. Everything, or rather what was left was 705 off, I should have gone sooner. For my camera I am not looking for anything fancy- not sure how much I will use it, I would hate to spend alot of money for something that I might not use that often. I will probably get something similar to your son's camera, 3x optical zoon, 5 or 7 megapixels, and with a zoom- 5 will probably be fine for me. I just don't have a camera so I want to get one, but nothing too fancy. Back to Circuit City, I was suprised how friendly the workers they had there, maybe 5- you would think they would not be so friendly knowing that tomorrow is their last day of work. There were two men outside by the main road holding signs, suprised me, but then again if you are unemployed and desperate for work you will do almost anything for a paycheck.

I can only read on the treadmill. I use my ipod on the bike and elliptical.

I bought my sons online at walmart on black friday. It was right around 40$ (if I am remembering correctly) and even came with an extra memory card.

My camera is 10X optical. I need it to zoom in at sporting events, etc.

Digital zoom doesn't really mean anything it is the optical that you want to look for but I figured 3X optical would be okay for my son to start.

Thank you....all was good until I tried to use my credit card. This is the third time it has set off some kind of a fraud alert and been declined there. It's some sort of computer glitch that happens with their terminals. It not only declined that card,(Cirrus) but when I took out a second card (AT&T/SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM) it declined that too!!! Both cards are platinum cards, so nowhere near their limits and all paid to date....so I start getting worried that my numbers have been stolen...I get home, call both credit card companies, and neither one has any notification of Target even trying to put through a charge. Bizarre, because they tried each card 3 times or more. I finally just used my debit card.

Both places told me to just have Target put the numbers in manually from now on.

aggravating...but anyhoo, I got all sorts of good stuff, from handsoap to clothes. I love those Mossimo and Merino tops.

Check up went as I expected. :(

He told me that I'm starting to get arthritis in my lower back! OMG....and he wants to do a "Medium Bridge Block"....at least I think that's what he said. It all started to blur after I heard "arthritis"......and I could have the words completely wrong, but the gist of it is that he wants to go in and solder off the nerve endings to where I wont feel any pain. I have a problem with that.

I said, "What if I twist wrong or something, really hurt myself, and not be able to feel it?" He said, "Oh, you'll know...."

So anyhoo....the "block" or whatever mumbo-jumbo he said usually lasts about a year, and then I'd just have to go and repeat the diagnostic procedure every year after that. I seriously doubt my SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM will cover it.....I dont' know...I'm just rambling. I told him I dont want anything done to me that is invasive....and I'm fine most days as long as I have my pills. I told him I sit in front of a computer all day, and it gets painful after a while.

Well, I understand you not wanting any kind of surgery, especially intrusive surgery.

I know how *I* am, I would probably not have the surgery and just take the medication, until it got so unbearable I would HAVE to have the surgery.

You just have to listen to your body AND your heart.

I'm suppose to go to an urologist for some kidney ailments, but haven't set up the appointment yet. I am SO sick of being probed and poked here and there. I know it's for my own good, but I'm REALLY kind of afraid they'll do that scope thing into my bladder. I can't stand the thoughts of that!...accck!

I'm rambling too. Oh well...it's good to ramble...lol

I told him yesterday, I said, "Doc, this is really getting old.....I'm tired of being in pain. I'm torn, because I DONT want surgery, but I also don't want to have to depend on pain pills the rest of my life..."

And plus, there's also the fear of addiction. Hydrocodone is a narcotic. It's addicting. But it feels SO good to be warm and fuzzy and painfree.....until the pills wear off.

Plus, the cost. It's cheap for me. I get 180 pills for $10. That will last me a month, if I take 6 a day....but still. I just don't want to have to deal with this. I really have no choice, but man....I long for the days when I wake up and feel great and can leave my pills at home.

Have a good lunch...sorry about the news from your doctor. My first instinct would be to postpone as long as you could...it's probably inevitable, but why start so young if you are basically dealing with it ok....everyone I know who has had back ailments and have gotten into the surgery cycle has yet to get out of it. It's like one surgery leads to the next and so on.

Monica, once in a blue moon I'll go red on the toes.

My nails are short, but my nail bed is long so they appear longer then they are. If I do color, it's on my hands.

funny I cant wear polish on my finger nails it freaks me out makes them feel suffocated but I always have my toes done

with that being said I have gorgeous fingernails If I do say so myself, long strong and very white people never believe they are real, I have had people try to bend them lol

Much healthier to go natural. When I used to colour them frequently- They yellowed.

When I stop, they are a nice healthy rosy pink.

You can look at ones nail and often see illness.

At least it was not a pick-up line- I was on a day cruise a few years back and one of the male passengers thought my boobs were fake and wanted to feel them to verify LOL! ( worst pick up line ever and no, I did not let him)

it happened so weird, we were looking at houses and the agent and I got talking and she was recovering from breast cancer, so she told me she had got implants and I asked "what do they feel like?" meaning to HER and she takes me hand and tells me its okay to feel one lol

so I did! I didn't want to but on the other hand I didnt' want to make her feel stupid for misunderstanding me or that I was repulsed by them

Check up went as I expected. :(

He told me that I'm starting to get arthritis in my lower back! OMG....and he wants to do a "Medium Bridge Block"....at least I think that's what he said. It all started to blur after I heard "arthritis"......and I could have the words completely wrong, but the gist of it is that he wants to go in and solder off the nerve endings to where I wont feel any pain. I have a problem with that.

I said, "What if I twist wrong or something, really hurt myself, and not be able to feel it?" He said, "Oh, you'll know...."

So anyhoo....the "block" or whatever mumbo-jumbo he said usually lasts about a year, and then I'd just have to go and repeat the diagnostic procedure every year after that. I seriously doubt my SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM will cover it.....I dont' know...I'm just rambling. I told him I dont want anything done to me that is invasive....and I'm fine most days as long as I have my pills. I told him I sit in front of a computer all day, and it gets painful after a while.

Jules I read about what the doctor recommended for your back pain and I just wanted to share a story...a co-worker of mine did something to her back in January, was out of work a week and when she came back she could barely walk and was in constant pain..well to make a long story short, what they did is give her an epidural, (I think that's another name for the 'block' they are talking about with you, as I know someone else who said he was having a 'block procedure' and it turned out that was the same thing) Anyway, they did the epidural on my friend, outpatient, she had to rest for the rest of that day, then within a couple days she was as good as new. I had 3 epidurals, each time I had one of my children...not sure if you did when you had yours, anyway, its not bad. Not that I'm butting in and suggesting that you go for it, but it did work really well for my friend. I was just like an injection, and they told her she may have to have another one in a year or so. I just thought I'd mention that story since it sounds similar to your problem. In any case, I hope you can get some relief! Good luck!
