I thought it was kind of rude...but it is The View after all, and Babs probably felt she was black so would maybe like to answer. Condi is just the best...she answered every question, that is the only one she avoided and she was great to watch when talking about her parents. She also really has a genuine respect for GW and the honest man that he is.

OK, maybe it's just me, but I don't think Elisabeth sounded too thrilled when she announced it. Maybe it's just not her style to be self-important and grandiose.

Back in November, I remember hearing that this country could possibly expect a little baby boom in August as a result of the exhilaration people were feeling over the new President on Election Night, but I have to say I didn't think Elisabeth would be leading the charge! But good for the Hasselbecks!

Paraphasing here she didn't even realize she was pregnant. She was feeling kind of icky. Run down tired following the elections. Sort of suffering from Obamitis.

Then I guess when she was reading here and us commenting on her growing belly - yikes, maybe she could actually be pregnant.

About Elisabeth?? I just read an on-line article about her announcing her pregnancy where she did use the term, "Knocked Up" . . . . ewwwwwwwwww!

Call me a prude, I don't care, lol, I HATE, HATE that expression and I'm shocked EH referred to herself in that way. I think she wishes maybe she hadn't . . . then again, maybe not, lol.

I will defend EH here & I am pretty sure she used the 'knocked up' expression in a joking manner but nevertheless, it still comes off in a crass or crude manner to most.

I did enjoy the movie Knocked Up as a light almost romantic comedy.

But to announce one's pregnancy or refer lightly to getting knocked up was not in good public VIEWING audience !
