Since I got so much info about Caroline Gray from this forum I also want to ask about Rex Bernard. If I remember correctly he was on ACN at one time and then it seems somewhere else before he finally landed on DSN. I was so glad to see him there. He knew gemstones better than anyone. An odd guy who grew on me. Then he died, I was watching DSN irregularly so never knew what happened to him. I still miss his telling of gemstone lore and history. He loved zircons!

I seriously don't remember him but I never got dish. I watched acn when it came to cox. I remember there were few men hosting, mostly women. Then I moved and couldn't get the channel anywhere for more than a few years. I would shop from time to time on the web but had no idea who was hosting over those years. I am guessing a lot of people came and went.
When I got it again on tv it became jtv all of a sudden
One of the hosts I remember from back in 2001/2002 but can't remember her name, had dark hair and it seemed she was friends with Caroline outside of the studio. I think she had just gotten married or something but was not young. She was really pretty and had a soft but compelling voice. For some reason I think her name was Angie but am not sure (and no it's not Angie Nicole this lady was about Caroliine's age and Angie Nicole wasn't anywhere around yet)
Her favorite shtick was when she would find a ring that had a low price, she would say looks like a mistake but I'm not asking questions. You knew the company had marked it down and you were getting a bargain. I seem to remember Caroline doing shows on Saturday afternoons and this lady coming on after Caroline.
