I think I seen this the other day on some news show I was watching.

God love that little guy. I feel sorry for him..):

I'm thinking maybe they gave him a little too much? I mean, he was starting to freak out....

Me too!

It sure looked like it. That can be dangerous, ya know?

Of course, the father just HAD to film it...sheesh

Poor David -- it's been all over the internet.

It's one thing to show your family how affected he was by it, but to show the world? Bad decision on the father's part....

What some people find "cute", I find a little disturbing.

I feel the same way Jules

I wouldn't even THINK of doing something like that to my child.

Amen to that, Cindyloo...

I'm glad you guys are reacting the way I did to it.....notice at first I just posted the link without giving my opinion? I was wanting to see if anyone else felt bothered by it like I did.

Well I think it's terrible. Can you imagine the teasing he's getting in school?

It would not load for me....which is probably for the best by the sounds of it. =(

It would probably be funny if it was a video of someone older....maybe 18 or so...but the kid doesn't even look like he's 8 or 9....and he's stoned out of his mind.

Doesn't sound like anything I want to see. It shocks me sometimes what people find funny, especially in regards to exploiting their own child.

I think in private....for his own family, especially years down the road, it would be funny. He wasn't on anything too strong....they never give anything too strong for dental procedures...he was just talking silly. I saw/heard some really cute and funny stuff when kids had to be medicated for dental treatment....but, you don't want your family sharing that with the world. ugh.

I just think of the teasing he'll have to indure.....it's sad. It's like his parents just set him up (well, his Dad anyway) for that kind of treatment from outsiders....

I agree Scoops, keep it for just the family and years down the road when he is an adult it will be funny to him and others. right now tho, that was an awful thing to do to him. some parents are so stupid.
