I've purchased a few pieces of cord jewelry and I've always been disappointed with the way they wear. Cord necklaces never lay flat, cord bracelets get dirty, etc. Anybody out there feel differently? I've noticed that BBSS is offering several cord pieces today.

I think it's cute but I have never purchased any pieces from QVC. I have picked up a couple of pieces from Cato's and it has served me well.

I've bought a couple of them, and was sorry I did. You are correct in that they get dirty, and if you are like me and get hot flashes, they often ended up flying across the room, as I could not get them off fast enough. Too sticky to the skin.

I don't care for the look. To me, it's a little "country" looking. Nothing wrong with that look, it's just not for me. I think things look better on a chain (not a fan of Omega's either).

Shoe laces serve me well and are so inexpensive! Tie several together for that special "knotty" look and you'll be the center of attention. There's so many things you can do with them; it's almost limitless. Remember those fashionable threader earrings from a few seasons ago? Oh yes you CAN! Just run those laces through your ears as many times as you're comfortable with and you'll have a look all your own. Loop those laces around your neck 10, 20, 30 times or maore and don't forget to pull tight. Tongue peirced? Run a lace through and connect the ends to those in your ears and start a new trend. Don't forget the bracelet option. And, why just one when you can have two? Be creative and loop those laces around your wrist, right up to the elbows. Maybe even the shoulder. You can also use laces as your belt. Of course, you can be less than stylish when just using laces for your shoes but just think of the attention you'll get if you connect all those laces together in some fashion. The shoes to the belt, the belt to the ears, the ears to the wrist, the wrist to the tongue and the tongue to the other wrist. Can't you just imagine how that would all come together as you walked down the street! You can't do that with metal.
