the bassist for the lynyrd skynyrd band ean evans succomed to stage 4 cancer yesterday he replaced the long time bassist leon wilkeson when leon died in 2001 this is the 2nd skynyrd member to pass away this year they lost piano player billy powell in january.

yes ed king guitar,bob burns drummer,gary rossington still in the band and they had the bass player of .38 special as their original bass player but he joined .38 special and they had the now deceased bass player leon wikeson and rickey medlocke now a guitar player of skynyrd was the drummer at one time in skynyrd so he's considered an original in some capacity.
