the new show host at JTV

I watched JTV for the first time in a long time, I now have an antenna that picks up the LP station here that re-broadcasts JTV's programs. Tommy was on and I didn't even notice the new host, talk about under whelmed. I preferred the days when then "ACN" only used one host(with a few exceptions), they showed more product and more variety. Oh Wendi or Heidi came on after that show...immediately the channel was changed, they are so lucky they are related to one of the partners in the company, otherwise they would be unemployed.

I think you're talking about Casey. She isn't new. She was with JTV awhile back, got pregnant then fired? and now she's back again.

I don't know if these people are auditioning or what -- but they sit there and say almost NOTHING, except to ooh and aah occasionally. Don't know if Casey is officially back or not -- she's only on like once next week; not listed on the host page. Maybe these random people are filling in for people going on summer trips or something.

Oh gotcha... Haven't seen Carrie but happen to catch Casey the other day and her co-host welcomed her back.

Who is the host named Robin? He or she (I'm guessing it's a she) is on the schedule for Tuesday along with Robert. It's cool that Casey's back. I don't get why the would fire her and then hire her back, but I stopped questioning JTV's reasoning a loooooong time ago.

Casey is back?!? Woohoo! Thats awesome ... she was a sweetie and one of my faves, although ... she was typically with Goober, oops ... Scott. :-(

I flip by and if it's gemstones, I don't stay anymore. I've lost my love for loose gems (besides, it's always tanzanite or the crap parcels anyway).

I miss the days when they had turntables of high end stuff. I'm so sick of the under $200 price level stuff, I barely watch anymore.

When I flip thru (and have to change the channel when I see Scott on) I always notice that although Avi attempts to act cheerful & enthusiastic, she seems to barely be able to stomach him. When she looks at him I get the feeling that she really can't stand him. I don't know if that's me projecting what I know about Scott or if I'm actually seeing her distaste for him. Either way, it's a mismatch to me!

I agree that Avi seems a bit annoyed by him, it's not just you projecting. As loud as he talks on tv, just imagine what it's like sitting right next to him! He strikes me as the type that wears a lot of nasty smelling cologne.

Scott's "secret" is that he was arrested for inappropriate behavior with two minor girls. I use to like Scott I bought alot of stones from him as well! But lately I just can't find the energy to spend my money anymore... I'm watching them... Dawn is on selling Yellow Mexican Labradorite for $7.48 3.35ct 10 mm Round Fancy Cut... I bought a 3. for $3.00 when they 1st got it... so as you can see the prices are dropping slowly... it was (by the JTV price) $19.99... LOL
