MAXX Bag $199.00 Seen On TJMaxx Web Page

Last night, right after the TSV MAXX Luggage, they showed a bag for $199.00 that it
was stated the original was made for $1,000.00. The bag was in Eggplant and two
other colors I believe. It's hard to describe, but had all kinds of wavy flaps from the
bag. It SOLD OUT in an instant!! Today reading these blogs I learned about TJ MAXX
and Marshall's having these bags and others at much lower prices. I went to the
TJ MAXX Web page and lo and behold it certainly looked like to me that the model on
the page was holding the "wavy flap" bag in white or ivory. Also, the TSV luggage
was not offered on Easy Pay at midnight. Who wants WHITE luggage. The print
reminds me of all the little girls trailing their carry-ons with a Barbie or
Ballerina print. Why didn't she make a couple of gorgeous colors maybe with
croc patent trim or something in a tonal pattern with trim. Cobalt is so popular now
and would probably look very nice in luggage.

Did a little more checking and the bag is $195.00. Also, the bag on TJ MAXX has
the flaps but no chains and seems to be in a summer color. Does MAXX do a line
for TJ MAXX? Or is this their summer version? The "Flap" bag last night was in
dark colors.

I have seen MAXX bags and just about every other brand shown on QVC many times at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

I thought that wavy-looking bag was ugly. I wouldn't want it for free.

I certainly agree about the Maxx TSV--the print looked like Barbie merchandise and the so-called White Tiger was impractical. It would have been a great buy if it had been offered in several basic solids...

Rebel_Mom, so have I...all day long MAXX NY bags for far less than what they are being sold for on QVC. Most of the Dooney bags that are on QVC are on clearance on dooneybourke.com as well as at Macy's. Research is required before buying from the Q. I think the easy pay makes most people pay the higher price. But me, I have learned to do without in lieu of paying 30% more to get something in installments. No thanks.
