On Monday's PM Style, Joan Rivers was selling a Crystal Bee "Winner" pin she received from her staff for winning the Apprentice. Joan and Lisa R were giving suggestions on purchasing the pin for various occasions and mentioned it as a gift for a bride or her attendants. The word "Winner" was engraved on one of the bee's wings and Joan said you give the pin to a bride as a winner if the bride is ugly and could never get a date and finally landed someone. I think she meant it to be funny, but when Joan saw Lisa R wasn't laughing along Joan quickly tried to make light of it by saying something like her mother was glad she finally found a man and she was afraid she (Joan) would never get married. Joan is ignorant. She is no raving beauty and neither is her daughter.

That was her point Newtothis ... Joan always makes fun of herself first. If you know anything about Joan, you know this.

I have that pin by the way ... very pretty. Love the new smaller style. I ordered it the Monday after she won Celebrity Apprentice. BTW, she kept saying it was the first aurora borealis bee she has done ... not true. I have one from YEARS ago, the old (original) body style, silver metal and these clear AB stones. I want to say it was called the Winter bee pin, but don't have my list with me.

I used to watch when Joan was on all of the time. I think that she did her shows with Cathy Levine back then? I never bought anything I just tuned in to listen/watch because I thought that she was funny.

Anyway I do remember her doing a bee pin back then also.

There was one piece that I have thought about over the years and regretted not buying.

She called it a worry bead necklace. It was on a longer chain and I loved it. Wish I would have bought it and have searched for it thru the years.

I have her original bee pin and I always have problems with it because the fastener is so small. My solution is to leave it pinned on all the time.
