They brought on Bikini Girl to give her a Razzy Award (whatever they called it) & to have her sing again. Sad that Kara had planned to come out & start singing behind BG's back. Then Kara rips open her dress to reveal a bikini. Then, she says she did it for charity. Oh, please. Kara was upset that BG upstaged her during the interview process so Kara just had to get the last word in - so to speak.

Not that I like BG, but Kara really thinks she's special. And I didn't think her singing or performance was anything special. She looked very uncomfortable & out of place. Too bad Simon didn't get to critique her.

I'm glad Kris won. Adam is too creepy for me & he sounds the same in every song. You get tired of it. He screeches & yells more than he sings. Those disgusting photos of him on the internet didn't help much either. Google 'Adam Lambert Kissing' & click on some of the links. Disgusting! EEEWWW!

Wow....I had heard Kara did something last night, but I haven't seen the show yet...I recorded it....she rips open her clothes and is wearing a bikini underneath?

While I'm not all that crazy about Kara, (she's miles better than Paula IMO, however), I DO think it was just a joke on the BG.

Now there's a twit who's definately banking on her, uh....assets.

Kara co-wrote that song Adam & Kris had to each sing. I laughed when Simon had made a comment about the song & he said he wasn't going to critique the song, just the performance. I read in an interview that when asked if Kara was coming back for another season, Simon said something like he would assume so, but that he was only concerned with Ryan, Randy & Paula being there. He wouldn't like doing the show without them. And at the interview process, he said he liked Bikini Girl's high note better than Kara's.

Didn't BG's new chest look sort of funky-looking? They looked like they went way too much off to the side. Too wide-spread. Know what I mean? LOL.

This season's finale had the lowest ratings since the show started.

Rod Stewart was looking pretty good.

Seeing Kiss brought back so many memories.

I thought it was funny! Bikini Girl gave all sorts of attitude when trying out, and I'm sorry ... Kara can sing! She proved that last nigit! I thought it was hilarious, and doing that for charity ... win/win!

I don't love the 4th judge idea, but I have no problem with Kara in general. I thought she gave great critique, as opposed to "pitchy dawg" or "touchdown".

I don't like Kiss, but that performance with Adam was awesome! You could tell he was having the time of his life!

I'm not a fan of Kara's but I'm glad she upstaged BG who is totally obnoxious. I had to laugh when Ryan commented on what was "new" about her -- huge boob implants. The bikini top barely covered them. She deserved what she got.

I loved what Kara did last night. I thought it was hilarious. She put BG in her place!

I love Adam. I voted for him. That performance with KISS brought me to my feet! It was awesome!
I like Kris, too - but what's done is done.

Now, I got to listen to people complain on Youtube about how conservative people hate Adam (because he's "gay").

Well, I can only speak for myself -- I AM conservative and I love Adam.
Adam will go all the way.

I did not watch this season. All I heard was a snippit of the runnerup earlier and he sounded pretty good and then I heard a few bars last night from the winner and I did not see anything special in his voice. Has the level of talent lowered in the last few seasons?

Kara was trying to upstage PAULA, not the Bikini Girl.
Paula choreographed at least two shows this season, plus she sang a couple weeks back. Kara tried to outdo her by writing a song for the last sing-off, then she followed up with the BG stunt. I think she realized how ridiculous she looked, because she kept trying to cover herself after the big "exposure." Hopefully this will be her last hurrah.

As for Kris winning, it's no big surprise. For at least the last 20 years, pop music has been overrun with all manner of freaks and ne'er-do-wells; if it's "edgy," it'll make big bucks. But once every type and style of "nonconformist" has been exploited, whast do you sell next? Did Adam do ANYTHING that hasn't been done by Marylin Manson, Boy George, Alice Cooper, or David Bowie?

Kris was the real deal - he relied on his voice, ability, and TALENT; nothing else. And he won. If Adam had worried less about his "image," he might have done a few things differently, and won himself. Of all the contestants this season, he was the only one who had a totally different look and style each successive week. It doesn't matter that each week a new music genre was featured; any given SUCCESSFUL artist has a set style and image that doesn't really change no matter what material they are dealing with. Aside from his screeching, Adam had nothing consistent from week to week like Kris did.

As for the "politics" surrounding Kris' win, it's a case of sour grapes - the freak didn't win, so try and demonize those that didn't vote for him. Anyone that thinks "American Idol" is some sort of referendum on our culture probably also watches David Letterman for the "hard news of the day." It's all just more hype to try and promote Adam, a marginal talent, at best. He lost. He'll move on.
