Last night about 11PM, I accidently channel surfed into the Elf Herself hosting (of all things!) a beauty show. She kept digging into a little plastic purse which she referred to as "Jane's Beauty Bag" (ok, ok, stop laughing!). My first, still and only reaction was/is - Lady, if you've got one, why aren't you using it? She was hawking some magic wrinkle-disappearing cream (at the not-so-magic price of $120/tube). Now, if she could just find some other magic stuff to make the age spots/freckles disappear from her hands . . . . .

Anything in the bag relating to hair care??? Like flattering colors or how to find a good stylist? Inquiring minds want to know...

Kate Sommerville sells a moisturizer/wrinkle reducer cream for $450. I couldn't believe it! Okay, she's someone the celebrities use for facial products. But are you kidding me? The average person is going to pay that? The drug store brands are probably just as good as a Kate Sommerville product.

I know the jewelry shows will feature $450 items, but a cream for your face? What the heck?

I think she looks like a transvestite. She's actually scary-looking. She'd make a good killer in some horror film.

Although, I'm sure she's a very nice lady. She just needs a complete makeover.
