Re your siggie...

I would suggest you ask veterans about their care before setting that program up as a positive example...

;0))

OH, and you might check with those Democrats who are against it, while you are at it...

Any health care bill could be passed without a single Republican vote, yet...............

As someone who works with and talks to veterans every day the ones that I talk to are very happy with their service here, they love coming here and would not go anywhere else. Their bills are low or non existent, we offer waivers- the problem that many veterans that I deal with is not with their bills or service but with all of their paperwork that is involved, it is extensive. Some VA's are better than others, but that is the same with any hospital. For the ones that I talk to everyday it is a positive example, is it perfect, no, but nothing is and personally, I think we need to do more for our veterans, and our elderly.

I should add and clarify some things, the only part of Veteran health benefits that are socialized is tricare, and not all vets have tricare, it is for retired vets and dependents ( Medicare and Medicaid is also considered socialized medicine). Where I work is very proactive in helping our veterans, but some VA's are more strict with their rules. Back in January, we were told that Congressional Budget Office details just one proposal that would increase out of pocket expenses for medical care for Military Families and Veterans, while others would lose their VA benefits altogether. Other proposals would raise Tricare fees, co-payments and deductibles. Veterans whose medical condition isn’t service related could end up no longer being eligible for VA medical care at all. Many veterans come here because they want to, because they need to for financial reasons, some see it as a meeting place and want to be around other veterans ( some see it as a social gathering). I have not heard an update about that proposal and I hope it does not happen, the veterans need more help, not less. I have excellent health SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM and I don't want it to change, I would like to see some positive changes for families to be able to afford health SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM, veterans and the elderly.

Hi Amber!

Yes, it was very funny . . . . Mark and Kelly laughed, but I think it was more of a, "did he just call me gay?!?" uncomfortable kind of laugh . . . . .

Isaac continued to make comments about Mark, and then Mark and Kelly kind of stopped laughing, yikes!

Hey G :)

LOL That doesn't surprise me that Mark's machoism would get the better of him. Not sure why Kelly took it so serious.
