I watching Roberts and Casey’s show right now, twice they have made a point to mentioned the time. This isn't a taped show. I hope this means they have finally decided doing taped shows is not the way to sell jewelry.

I've noticed that the 2-6AM show is usually the rerun and it's mostly gemstones. Sometimes they combine 2 shows with different show hosts to fill up the time because a lot of the product sells out. Only someone with insomnia watches at that time of day when there isn't anything else on and even then I change the channel! I wish they would read the posts here and figure out that they are losing their old and loyal customers and the new ones that they always talk about registering won't stick around very long either unless the quality of product and service improve.

Not all the hosts are trying to fake a repeat. This morning Scott was talking about it being "under $100" Saturday.

On the other hand, I was watching the end of a live Dawn show and she kept talking about the "beautiful woman" coming up next, but never used a name.

I tune in occasionally for a few minutes, but seldom watch for more than ten minutes. Outside of a few gifts last Christmas, I haven't made any purchases from JTV.

The last thing I bought for my self was a large cab parcel a year ago. All the stones in it were drab - greys, browns, white. The only "pretty" one was a tiger eye that looked like it had been chewed up and spit out.

I took it to the post office to return it. The PO is required to inquire about the contents of the package (is it fragile, is it liquid) for the safety of the mail carriers. The guy took one look at my package and asked "it's jewelry, isn't it?" He was close enough so I just said "yes". Then he said, "I thought so, we see A LOT of these!"

They don't even try to fake it anymore. This morning Scott started his show with Angela and finished it with Avi...it took two edited shows to fill the time slot and even then a lot of the stuff is sold out before they show it. I know someone who was working there until a couple of weeks ago. She said that no paycheck was worth that much abuse...from angry customers and management alike! She grabbed her stuff and walked out in the middle of a required 10 hour shift.

I noticed that also, just after I wrote the first post in this thread, I guess I should change it to "they are reading this board but they don't care". So I guess after 1AM edt all the shows are taped. What a bunch of bs. It would be one thing if they made readily clear that the show is not live by flashing a banner "taped" or something like that. Bottom line it's not fair to the people that call in only to find an item that is sold out. Oh and this is another ACN/JTV big deal they used to make(only LIVE 24/7) exclusively jewelry network...they can't make that claim anymore. If they do someone needs to contact the FTC.

The Gem Shopping Network is live 24/7, so JTV was never the only one.And now Customer Care is only open half days on Saturday, closed on Sunday and only open til midnight on weekdays so if you have a problem and don't want to wait on hold forever you can't even complain!!!

They did 2 repeats this week... I tried to watch them but couldn't but I knew I had just watched that gemshow with Scott on it! I also watch Dawn to see what she has but not to hear her talk and Sean always smiling... My only hope for this show is that Sean's son is doing ok!
