IMO Lisa looked gorgeous and elegant at midnight followed by Shawn looking atrocious and fugly.

On the bright side, it will make avoiding Shawn, Gabrielle, Amy, Albany, and Jonathan so much easier if they all are on in the middle of the night.

Shawn is now on a rotating schedule meaning some days she can be on in the middle of the night some days she can be on in the mornings the afternoons or evenings it jus depends on the schedule

As for harsh, well, we all have different tolerance levels, and different interpretations of harsh.

For me, I can't remember when I've instantly disliked a Q host so much.........Boob Bowersox was one, but it wasn't nearly as an intense of a dislike as with Shawn.

Unfortunately, Shawn is hosting QCheck again today; her corny singing/dancing with Tony Orlando to the 70s hits CD had me laughing hysterically. She talks too fast, and when she sucks up to certain vendors it comes across as so insincere. It's amazing QVC has kept her on in the daytime this long.

Oh, BB , how I agree! Q is unwatchable. I assume Shawn is bumped for the Xmas hawking!?! The reason I came here btw is to find out the status on her "engagement". Was it last Xmas or longer (I no longer tune in since these new hosts are so horrible, it is pure torture to sit through) but in surfing the other night I saw Qbonics hosting with the fat man who sell coats. She was so wacky and I only stayed with it about 30 seconds but I did notice with all the hand waving that there is no ring on her finger. Was that stupid live and laughable proposal even real? The way Q has gone I can't tell if it was some stupid skit to sell jewelry. As for Albany I heard her yesterday or maybe today in the early morning hours and it may as well have been the wall doing the presentation. What happened? The host hired these last few years SUCK & BLOW!

Newbie - The ring has been gone for a long time. I read that a caller asked her about her upcoming marriage and she got testy and cut the call short. I think the proposal was real. If anyone paid any attention, and we all know I do, she seemed to show some real signs that she was out of sorts. She gained about twenty pounds, chopped her hair off and wore winter clothing in the spring. Last year, she was all girly and feminine, with fluffy, curly hair, high heels and dresses. It was quite a change. Her mom and dad stayed with her for over three months, which I found to be strange because she said her mom is house bound. Traveling from Michigan to Pennsylvania would not be that easy. Read her blogs. She is still messed up, IMO. Both Shawn and Patti need to stop with the public declarations of being unhappy and searching for inner peace. Shawn writes about reading self help books, reading the Bible and the same "I've decided to be happy" drivel we've heard from Patti.

News flash! You do not DECIDE to be happy. It's not like DECIDING on the blue shirt or the pink shirt. You either have it or you don't. You can make a decision to become happy or persue happiness but it is not just a simple decision. You have to work through it. Shawn admits she's a control freak, so go from there. A self-fulfilling prophecy if I've ever heard one. Rule #1 about control freaks? They are out of control! One real glaring thing to me? She is still buying this, this and this. She owns that, that and that. She also claims repeatedly that she's on a tight budget. Umm, OK. Quite sincere and believable.

The QVC blogs are a good way to catch up on your favorite host or show and you can ask questions and get general answers from the hosts, rather than a private e-mail. I swear that no one proofreads these things. They really need to. Maybe QVC can farm that job out too.

They seem to have paired up some hosts, probably because they have too many! Antonella and Dave, Shawn and David. Maybe they have a calm one with a hyper one. David told Shawn to lay off of the coffee on Saturday. She did not appreciate it but he was right. They had three hours to go. If she did not bring it down a notch, she would have had a stroke. Now, that would be some good television.

She even said on her blog that she had to start calming down the night before so she was somewhat normal for the noon Q Check show. Joke or truth or a little of both? Up the meds, spaz.
