Jon Gosselin reconciles with Kevin and Jodi

I don't care what the reasons are; I'm tired of both Jon and Kate, but I am very happy for Kevin and Jodi, their kids and the Gosselin kids. They were VERY close and shouldn't be kept apart. Read on:



Nasty divorces do make friends out of the most unlikely of enemies. Saturday, Jon Gosselin invited his estranged wife Kate's estranged brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Jodi Kreider, to his home!

With Jon on parenting duty at the Gosselin's PA home and Kate in Los Angeles for a public appearance Monday night, Jon met the Krieiders with warm hugs when they arrived at the house.

In a series of exclusive blockbuster interviews earlier this year, the Kreiders blasted Jon and Kate for their "sham" marriage which they said was all for the show. This was months before the Gosselins announced they were divorcing, a decision that ultimately led to the demise of their TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

In one particularly heated exchange involving Jon and his in-laws, after Jodi commented that the kids were "overworked" and shouldn't be forced to do their show, Jon shot back that the Kreiders didn't know what they were talking about.

"They don't even know where we live," Jon told RadarOnline.com while insisting his kids loved working on the show.

Kate later told Meredith Viera on Today that her brother going public about her marriage had been one of the saddest parts of the entire ordeal.

We can only imagine what Kate is thinking about the new alliance between Jon and Kevin. Could Jon be somehow hoping to use them against Kate in their financial battle?

Hopefully the same thing will happen with the "estranged" Beth Carson due to the fact that Mady and Cara were best friends with her daughter, Talia, and the kids shouldn't have to suffer for their mothers' estrangement.

It wasn't just their Mother it was both Jon and Kate from what I remember, I think he's an ass for this latest stunt, JMO but all he is trying to do is hurt Kate more, its HER family and its up to her to work things out and deal with the kids etc, and its funny how the players keep changing I remember when the family was first on the outs people said the inlaws were pissed because they weren't getting paid for the show, now they're wonderful I can't keep up lol

IMO Jon is using this as another weapon in his battle...I think he is a sad pathetic little "man" and he has no right sticking his nose in Kates family issues

I agree that he is probably doing it to anger Kate. My first thought was Jon wants a babysitter and to piss off Kate. However....I think the kids would benefit from being around all their family. They have always gone out a lot and probably have friends but they seem extremely isolated.

I think Jodi or really the inlaws have been whiny but I do believe the stories about Kate. I always thought Jodi did great with the kids and from what I saw....she did it without a babysitter by her side.

Everybody has said things they should have kept to themselves for the kids sake but I don't think Kevin or Jodi are somebody that should be kept away just because Kate has had issues with them. Same thing with her parents if they are good people and Jon wanted them to know them. If everything is based on who Kate finds acceptable or doesn't have issues with...pretty soon that would be most of PA kept away from her kids and not allowed to make eye contact. haha

Hopefully despite Jon starting drama...the kids will get something supportive and stable.

I believe the stories too, Mike, because there have been too many other family members, former friends, acquaintences, former neighbors, etc. etc. who all tell the same story about her. And she kicks anybody to the curb once she doesn't find them useful anymore. I'm glad Jon is getting exended family back into those kids' lives, especially Kevin and Jodi, who were so good to them. And it's nice to see her lose all that control she's always felt she's entitled to. Apparently she doesn't want anybody around who she can't control. Sad.

I agree with a lot of your points Mike and of course its good for the kids to see their family, but it's not Jon's business if I wasn't speaking to one of my family members for whatever reason I'd be pretty pissed if my ex felt he had the right to stick his nose in..
Funny how it got" leaked "to the press, seems when Jon tries to do "good" it ends up in the media lol

Oh but wasn't it him that was leaking stories about Kate where she was what she was doing etc? I don't believe for one moment he is doing this for the good of his kids just like everything else he has claimed that has been shown to be lies later on.

And I love how people seem to forget the stuff he himself said about Kates family

Excellent post Dani- but we really don't know her family, only what has been seen on a tv show and who knows how much is reality? We don't personally know them, maybe Kate has her reasons to not be near her family, maybe it is not good for her kids to see them. Who knows, maybe it will be good for them, but as you said it is none of Jon's business, he is trying to make himself look better and will do anything and everything to achieve his goals- obviously, he needs a strong woman like Kate and he is a loser

If true, what a malicious thing to do.

The things that he does always involves using the children, putting them in harms way, or stealing from them.

Kids are smart and when they are older they will see the difference in mommys and daddys behaviors and figure out for themselves exactly what was going on.

I do not watch the show but he is coming off as a malicious self serving user.
