Why does it cost nearly $10 to set up and Auto-shipping account with QVC?
I am watching the Bee-Alive show, and they are charging $9.50! It's like they are charging their customers every way they can, surely there is no reason to charge people to start Auto-shipping?

By the way, am I the only person on this forum, who never orders anything, just curiously watch these shopping channels?

Sometimes I just watch, like when I'm cleaning or busy doing something else, I keep it on for background noise. When I see something I like, I buy!!! Just out of curiousity, is there a reason you watch but never buy??

Most of the time the tv at my house is on Nick Jr. LOL However, when I get the chance or at nap time I check out the Q. Like Catsmeow, I too have it on for the noise (adult noise, some of you might understand) or to check out what they're offering at that time. I do buy occasionally but I honestly don't remember the last time I placed an order. I do have the Bare Escentuals foundation on auto-delivery, the set up charge was less than half of what you mentioned for the Bee-Alive. That price is way too much IMO but maybe if your happy with one product and order often it could help. Any comments from anyone on that stuff? I've never ordered and usually turn it off when they present it. Am I missing something?

They get you coming and going on those auto-delivery charges. And heaven forbid if you want to postpone a shipment, half the time they'll ship it to you anyway, even when you call to change the date. I've noticed on HSN they'll often waive the set up fee and even have flex pay options.
