It seems like even though QVC is selling more products than ever (plants, food), their programming is becoming more boring and less original. It's the same basic products over and over again. What would you like to see QVC add to their line up? I'd love more "designer" jewelry lines (with actual jewelry artists) especially in silver and steel and a more updated clothing line...something really european and chic.

Thats exactly what I would like - a David Yurman show or John Hardy. As for clothes, I dont think its realistic. They dont sell
2.4,6,8, etc.; they sell S,M,L, etc. And every item comes in all sizes. This limits the kind of style they can sell. Its got to be big and oversized. I think if they sold more tailored clothes the market would be limited and the returns would be many.
Also, I think known vendors would get into trouble with their department store clients if they sold to QVC. I would love to see a Chanel cosmetics show, for example, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I'd like to see more turquoise jewelry shows. Turquoise is really hot this year and where is QVC? Not showing much of it. They had a show on last week, that was the first turquoise hour I've seen in a long time. I'd also like to see some tri-color gold jewelry.

I would like to see a better line of clothing.I also would like to see some new thing come to qvc.ITs a repeat over and over. After a while you get tired of seeing the same thing.

More designer jewelry shows - I love the Sterling Signature, RLM, and Ray Treacy shows and would love to see other designers. Agree with turquoise too - looks great with black and with white for summer. Clothes in smaller sizes - I think their smalls are huge. (Annie, if you want European and Chic, please check our suggestions for your first day at work)!

David Yurman for sure!! And other jewelry designers too. I really love Victoria Weick (?) on HSN. Her designs in SS and White Gold are beautiful!! I am a turquoise lover also and would love to see bigger, bolder items on the Q.

Love Victoria Wieck jewelry!!! Her silver jewelry looks more like white gold. Very beautiful, different designs!!! Are you listening, QVC???

Gosh, I thought it was just me. The last couple of days have been soooo boring. I agree with all the posts. More designer shows. With silver. As far as the fashions go, I wouldn't hold my breath. If you are listening QVC, get rid of Susan Graver. That would free up a whole bunch of hours for some quality stuff. Of course, just my opinion.

I'm with you all on this one. I've been wanting a great turquoise necklace for the summer too, guess I'll be visiting a boutique here in town. I'm tired of waiting on the Q for this one. Same stuff, different day!

I agree with you. I have not REALLY watched for 2 weeks. I have not seen anything interesting to stay tuned for, much less actually purchase.

Its funny how trends come and go on the Q. Does anyone remember Smoky Quartz? Some years back it was on constantly. Now I cant remember the last time I saw any. Years. They dont seem to be doing Marcasite shows either. At least I havent seen any.

QVC reminds me of an infomercial station at times. I can watch those elsewhere.

I agree with Annie, the show's have gotten totally boring, at least to me.....

How's this - a show of pencils! See how good the hosts REALLY are! Actually, perhaps a show of mid- and high- end pen/pencil sets (can you tell what I'm looking for these days), journals, address books, and general stationery, greeting cards and the like. Perhaps even shows for special occasions (marriages, graduations, birthdays, holidays). I know - an old fashioned concept in this digital age, but it's a thought...

I agree Q been so boring even on days when they have like diamonique, fashions day, silver day they used to have all new products now some new lots of repeats .I also agree they need more like Victoria Wieck from HSN nice designs reasonably priced .I know Q's designer clothes are massed produced overseas with the designer's name and high cost . Do all the other shopping channels do the same ??? Might as well go elsewhere and buy with those prices and not the quality. I love Neiman Marcus but couldn't purchase lots there if i wanted.

I realize not all liked Kathy Levine but I felt she was honest...she use to say, if you're short waisted, don't buy this"...if your bust is large, this empire waist" will make you look bad"....if you can't afford this, don't buy it...I think the hosts are pushy now and the honesty is missing.

I agree 100%!!! The hosts are not as upfront as they could be. Perhaps that is why there are so many returns these days, with QVC sending out unpleasanat letters. Perhaps if they changed the way they do business there would be less returns!

it seems to me that QVC is in a time warp. They are NOT fashion forward. The jewelry is the same thing over and over and over year after year. They need new FRESH designers, both in jewelry and clothing. They are standing still while the world goes flying by.Hey QVC,it's 2002,not 1995!

Anyone craving Euro-chic check out Speigel. They're clothes border on Euro-trash. I'm so disappointed in their catalogues this year.

Totally agree! Many of the newer female hosts are all "cookie cutter" types and you can't tell one from the other. The male hosts have more distinct personalities. Definitely need a better line of clothes. Their jewelry designs seem to be getting a lot better though. On the most part, it's all getting soooooooooo boring. Needs some livening up.

I agree about Kathy - I always liked when she said, "if you are short, this is not for you", etc. After all we know in real life that everything doesnt
look good on everybody. Now thats how they sell everything, and they lose all credibility.
Then after the've told you that all sizes can wear it, they go through the "you can dress it up, you can dress it down" routine. So anything can be worn by anyone anywhere.
"And a grandmother and her teenage grandaughter would look equally stunning", and on and on.
I would like more clothes for targeted body types and life styles. I only surf by these days. Very rarely watch a whole show.

I see what you all are saying about QVC having to keep certain clothing styles because they are more tailored to the masses. How about some more chic accessories then? We could all buy our clothes elsewhere and QVC could get some really great hats, sunglasses, scarves, shoes...they're always talking about how the Europeans "accessorize". So why shouldn't we? Granted there's Linda Dano...but they could do a lot more.

I think QVC needs to bring some old favorites back into the shows like the Lucky number sweepstakes, The tic tac toe style game they played, and the other sweepstakes they offered. also maybe take a 1 or 2 hour show every now and then for blooper shows (show clips from past shows). They should do some shows like they used to do that shows backstage (Get To Know Us). They should read viewer emails about the products during the different shows. They should freshen up the shows and make them more lively. Like they should make more candy shows. Just some suggestions.
