I've noticed a lot of us notice the host's hair doos, and was just wondering, how do you wear your hair, and are you happy with it. I've been wearing a short
razor cut, convenient for now but it looks like it's going to be a nightmare to grow out - I only have about 500 different layers. This is always a dilema for me before a haircut appt. - can't wait to hear from you all!!!

Surfer, this is such a great question....and here is my answer: I always tell everybody, Iam pure Irish, that's why I have an Andy Warhol hairdo!!!! It just has a mind of its own!!

I used to have long hair, for the past 15 years or so. Very recently, I decided to cut it all off. It's real short and it flips up, very similar to Kim Parrish's hair. It's highlighted as well. I like it ok, but I think that I am going to grow it long again. I think that you can do more with long hair. More ways to wear it.

I have a little above shoulder length dark brown hair with long layers in it. I usually get highlights in the summer. I used to have long hair and then one day in high school I got frustrated and went in the bathroom and cut my own hair (ever done that?!). Well, believe it or not, I actually learned from that experience that short hair looks better on me anyway! Even when I think I'll grow it out, I wind up cutting it again because it looks better.

Spender - you are so lucky to be greying so nicely. I'm afraid I'm going to look like a skunk or something.
I think Paul Deasy has a widow's peek - he never seems to know what to do with his hair.

I color my hair dark brown (that's my natural color before the gray) with reddish highlights and wear it short and spikey on top. Easiest hair I have ever had!

I went grey in my mid twenties - died my hair for many years and got so sick of doing it I went natural in my mid forties.

My hair is grey but I am lucky - it is naturally silvery grey and I get many complements on the color. Most people assume

that I have done something to it. I wear it very short.

I had short hair cut in layers, that was then permed for body. I would then blow it dry with a round brush. Had this style for over 15 years. About 3 years ago I decided to grow my hair out and it's now down to the middle of my back. Believe it or not, longer hair is easier for me to take care of than shorter hair. When it's hot I just let it air dry. I can wear it down, in a ponytail (on bad hair days or windy days), I can wear it half up and half down or I can clip it up on top of my head. As a bonus I save a nice sum of money since I don't get perms anymore and only get 1 haircut a year!!!

Just got my hair cut yesterday. Through high school and college wore it long then gradually started cutting it shorter and shorter. Seems the shorter it is the better I like it, can't say the same for my husband though. Anyway, it's very dark brown with hints of red. Yesterdays cut....a little above the shoulder with choppy layers in the back but longer layers on the sides. NO BANGS for me. I'd compare it to Kim Parrish too but with more layering in the back to do the flippy thing or not.

Angela, my husband freaked out when I came out of the salon with short hair. He much prefers it long. But, I think he's getting used to it now! I think I will like it in the summertime!

I have the same kind of haircut as you do, $pender. My hair is dark brown and short and wedgy in the back with a strong angle on the sides, flipped under, with a saucy flip forward onto my cheeks. It looks reminiscent of the old 20's movie stars. I have had it that way for about 4 years now, and won't change it!
