moments..and I'm not talking about childbirth or weddings and stuff...crazy things you've done. For example, during college I spent a summer in Europe with friends from school. We were in Vienna at a restaurant with a gypsy band. Well....two of those gypsies took a liking to another girl and me, and asked us to go out after they were finished playing. Like IDIOTS...WE DID IT. God knows...we could have been raped or murdered or worse, but they were perfect gentlemen. They took us to a gypsy hangout somewhere in the back alleys Vienna where hardly anyone spoke English and they were all dancing and playing their zithers. The one that I was with gave me a silver Hungarian coin that I still have.

I have had many unforgetable moments but of the DUMBEST things I did was sneak out of my girlfriends house where we were having a slumber party. Four of us were complete risk takers and we were taking a back road to one of the girl's boyfriend's house when we came upon a group of Hell's Angels camping out. They invited us to sit with them and drink a beer (I was 17) and gave us a ride on their Harley's. They could have raped or murdered us but they didn't. They were very nice actually and walked us back to the house. Never saw them again.

Queenie, You sound like you were so much fun when you were young. Your stories are great!!! The only thing I ever did was, one weekend when my parents went away, I got up at 4:30 in the morning, took the L train into downtown Chicago, and grabbed a bus to O'Haire Airport, flew to D.C. for the weekend, and spent it with my ex-husband, I got so bombed that weekend, all I remember is seeing him do a strip in front of the fireplace, and my voice saying, "Look at all the molecule's floating in the air, I didn't know they could do that!!!"

Frenchi, I'm STILL fun! My kids are all married and they still want to hang out with me and my hubby although I have to admit, I'd NEVER want them to try any of the stuff I did. I love to laugh and we do a lot of it around here. One thing I didn't ever do was drugs. Believe me, there were many opportunities but that was one of a few things I drew the line at. Never even smoked a joint (My middle son made up for that...). I was a Majorette (remember them??) and an A student and on the Homecomeing Court every year but I had this VERY wild side that only a few friends ever saw. This year is my 30th class reunion. I haven't attended any of them because of distance, circumstances etc. but I am going this year. If I can get over this fear of flying....LOL!

Queenie, I was always a fun date.....but I had to be very subdued because of dear old dad...but everychance I got, I made up for it. And now my daugther's friends tell her, "ask your mom to come to, she is so funny" But unlike you, I was a real screw up in High School. I was hyperactive and dislexic.....and so back then they didn't understand any of this. BUT I did finish High School, and on the honor roll no less....moved to California, found some friends that did what your middle son did...but "I didn't inhale!!" Yeah! that's it, I didn't....(man, that stuff makes one want to eat!!)

Lol! My closest friends didn't inhale either! Seems strange to me now that they were all high as kites and I never had the desire to try it But it's true. Now, I did like cold brewskies though!!
