I wonder which one of us is the biggest addict! And which one of us most deserves "the letter"! How often do you buy things from QVC? And return them? I'd say I buy about twenty to twenty five things a year. I'm very selective and have to make sure the shipping is worth it. I probably return about three or four items.

I am probably the only one in here, who never buys anything. And never will.
The reason I watch QVC now and then, is just pure curiousity. I never watch entire shows, I just watch during commercial breaks, or flip through now and then.

I probably buy 2 or 3 items per month. Usually stuff in the 30 dollar range or less. It varies. Sometimes I'll go a month without buying anything, other times I'll buy more than that. I probably return a fourth or a third of what I buy. No letter yet! :)

I probably buy about two dozen items in a year. I try to make sure I really want the item because of the cost and time involved in returning it. Over the many years I've shopped with QVC, I've probably returned about 25% of the merchandise. As for that letter, unless you're returning over 75% of the merchandise I don't think anyone should be warned about their returns. All they ever talk about is their return/guarantee policy till it's coming out their ears!!!

I buy 10**2 items a year. Rarely return. I can remember returning one thing in the last year.

My buying runs in spurts. Sometimes I am getting a package three times in one week and then nothing for 4 months. Just depends on what I need or what looks like a good buy. And of course, how the pocketbook is holding up. Right now, determined not to buy anything on credit. I use my debit card. Either I have it or I don;t.

I buy 3 or 4 things a year and maybe return 1 or 2...I use to buy more but was disappointed upon receiving, so I just quit buying. I resent the cost of their postage and then more $$ to return. I saw a toe ring this morning and honest to god, the thing on the screen looked like a bracelet for a elephant's ankle....I'm really sick of jewelry looking huge and then when you get it, you can hardly see it...so I pretty much just don't there anymore. Same old, same old.

Barbm, I'm with you. Debit card all the way. You're right -- either you have it or you don't. I save credit cards for emergencies.

I have to say, so far I'm surprised. No one shops the Q as much as I thought we did. You'd think we'd be addicts since we talk on this BB. But I think we've all gotten a little too smart for the Q! We know whats up. I worry about some of the people I hear calling in.

I purchase about once or twice a month. Send back about one in five items.

I don't buy from them like I use to....at the end I sent alot of stuff back, now I only buy something I know I couldn't just go out and buy without paying more or having to go quite far to get it.....like when they have an Irish day...I might pick up something, cheaper than flying to Ireland.

Paying off credit card debt is no fun. I always make a list of stuff I see I'd like to order. But I only wind up ordering a fraction of it. Just cant afford it all. A lot of these new shoppers learn the hard way. I learned my lesson.

I do the major part of my purchasing with Q on check orders. That way I have a day or two to think about it and if it really was an impulse buy I cancel. I buy about 10 to 20 things a month online, half of are Q. I return about 10% mostly because it wasn't what I expected or I changed my mind. Quality control is not a big issue with me because I am careful about what I do buy. I cannot stand the whiney threads about the effin letter. If you send back more than what you are keeping then you are an idiot for purchasing more. Jeesh, I cannot stand those morons who insist that it is their right to purchase and return inferior merchandies. I purchase more from Q than other online sites because of their customer service. If that ever declined I would be shopping someone where else in a minute.

I have bought hundreds of things from QVC over the past 15 years. I could probably count on one hand all the stuff I have returned. Obviosly, I'm a very satisfied customer.
