Someone mentioned awhile ago they never see much Marcasite jewelry on QVC anymore. I noticed there was an hr. this morning. Most of the items weere on closeout prices. Seems like they are trying to phase it out. On the other hand, I keep seeing more marcasite on HSN. Wonder if there's a connection?

I never put the two together, but you are right. HSN has lots of marcasite shows compared to QVC.

I loved the Judith Jack marcasite shows that QVC had on often in the past.

Me too. Rarely see the Jack shows anymore. A lot of the pieces on closeout were Jack pieces.

I saw the 1 hour show this morning to and saw the same thing clearance clearance clearance. Don't understand why Q is not showing it anymore but a piece here and there. It sux LOL I miss the marcasite shows !!!!

I wonder if Judith Jack sold her business. She was no longer appearing on the shows. If she did sell, maybe the new company doesn't want to sell on television. Just speculating.

Since I don't have the time to watch QVC 24/7 I do most of my shopping online. If I waited before the item was presented I would never order anything. If you do a search for marcasite they have 170 items. If you do a search on HSN for marcasite they have 216, not much of a difference.

sometimes i know with me q's pictures of there items don't really look good ,hard to see or sometimes they dont have pictures of them. also has anyone ever tried to order something there showing and it cant be ordered on the computer cause i get that at times.

I just looked up Judith Jack on google com and the website is still there with tons of marcasite jewelry but you cant buy direct from judith jack they give a toll free number to call to tell you where you can purchase judith jack marcasite . just go to judithjack dot com and its there hate we cant post websites hope this took .

teresa, don't you love TJ Maxx? Their jewelry prices are hard to beat. I was there this afternoon and got a pair of J. Jill linen capri's for $14.99. I'm stylin' now!!

Judith Jack retired a few years back. What was her real name? I know Jack was her husband's name. Used for their business. Anyway, I believe her daughter was appearing on QVC with the line. But I havent seen any shows in so long, I dont know what's become of it. Its not on as much as it used to be, that's for sure. And with all those clearance prices the other morning, I wonder if its become another QVC vendor that's flown the coop!

Judith Jack sold her company at the same time she stopped appearing on QVC. She sold it to some large company, but I cant remember which one. I saw some beautiful JJ pieces in Lord and Taylor Saturday, but they were significantly higher priced than the QVC line.

I assume that QVC is no longer going to have Judith Jack shows; they havent been on in some time.
