was anyone up this morning? I watched the fashion outlet hour with christa pitts and she couldn't get thru it without yawning!! it was funny. They didn't show her, she was just reading the cards and specs of the stuff and you could hear her yawning about every 3 minutes, then laughing. I wonder how that goes over with the big wheels o' QVC. lol.....>yawn< I guess she even bores herself!!! hee heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee e

LOL! The perils of the graveyard shift.

I would also say, besides the shift, it's the products these hosts have to peddle. Can you imagine going to your job everyday and having to speak for hours at a time about something you could care less about? Never mind if you have other things on your mind like fight with spouse, the grocery list, doctors visit etc. Let alone if they're in a bad mood.....and who doesn't have their moods??? LOL!!!

I saw her this morning selling a stupid little kitchen aid food processor - she couldn't get the cover on, then she couldn't get the cover off. Then she had to sell a $20 plus (inc. s&h) can opener and that didn't work. I really felt sorry for her but I thought she handled herself very well. She's gotten alot better and I think she's going to be one of the better hosts.

I've been watching her more lately too and agree that she is getting very good. Seems genuine and a very likable person.

Actually, I find a yawning show host more refreshing than the glibness and so called polish of the 2 Lisas. I am more tired of their personal little catch phrases such as "good to go", "High end" and indicating how they buy $150 bracelets for their manicurists. So if Christa yawns too much or has trouble handling a product, I say it's OK with me.

Ski Girl - I saw her this morning with those two products too. She really handled herself well. And glad to see that she had a producer who went to a shot of the item instead of watching her trying to get that can opener to work. Plus, like you all said, I like that she is herself.

Speaking of yawning, a while ago I saw Kim P. do a wide mouth yawn when she didn't know she was on camera. They were getting a close up of whatever her guest was showing, and she was in the background so all you could see of her was from her nose down, and she did a hugh yawn.
