CANCELED! Judge Mills Lane
"Let's get it on!" with 64 year old court show host Judge Mills Lane who threw his last punch on Monday when Paramount Domestic Television producers and staff were given pink slips to pack up their bags and get out of the boxing ring. Former Nevada judge Lane will practice Reno law and and his boxing SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM firm. The former Washoe County district attorney gained national notoriety as a boxing referee when he disqualified Mike Tyson for biting off part of Evander Holyfield's ear in 1997. He was appointed to a six-year term as a Washoe County judge in 1996 but resigned in 1998 to launch the TV show "Judge Mills Lane." New episodes are still scheduled to run in the summer. Lane lasted for 3 seasons and averaged just a 1.7 rating putting it in ninth place out of 11 court shows. Most recently it earned a 1.5, matching its worst rating ever and off 21 percent from last year. Earlier in the year, the Tribune stations announced they would not pick up the series for another season.
"Let's talk him off!" is the final shout for this court room show.
