It was so good to see a familiar name! I, too, appreciate all the effort that LadyDeb put into the Yahoo gig. She really went above and beyond! I can't imagine having the time and patience to pull together such a task! God Bless her for it. I hope it all works out, but I'm hoping, too, that many "old friends" from USA will switch over here too. I like this kind-of format better myself, too.
Anyway, I better get to bed, too - I was just getting frantic at the thought of losing touch with the USA posters. I'm so glad they were able to set something up here in a somewhat similar fashion.

I am an Accountant. I have been working 7 days a week since the middle of January. My season ends on Monday at Mid-night. Good luck at your new job. Since my husband and I work at our own business I take the summer off and let him mind the office by himself.

I posted last night after a few had posted, and I was happy to see so many new posts this morning. I know I'm in the right place! Was in Target this week and had to check out the Diamonique. I was happy to see they only had about a dozen pieces, mainly simple pieces, stud earrings, a line bracelet, single stone pendant, and solitare rings. Mainly silver, a few 14k. I love Target, but feel the Diamonique is cheapened when you can get it at Target. Does that make sense? I will contiinue to buy my Diamonique at QVC. One thing though, QVC only has a 30 day return policy, Target has a 90 day return policy.

I also noticed at I post this reply, at the bottom of the submitt form, there is a PLEASE NOTE message that tells about the USA BB colsing down. It's not just Kathy's, but all USA BBs. Someone touched on this back at the USA bb, I forget who it was.

Tootsie, the USA BB is closing at midnight on the night of April 16th. There is a little mail slot right under Kathys name that you can click on and it will give you this info. Also Tootsie, about the pieces I saw at Target, judging by the price of the rings and pendants I saw, (less than 50.00) they must have been silver. I also never think about buying jewelry at Target. Most of my stuff comes from QVC.

Well, I've been all around the world tonight! At Yahoo trying to get set up in our message board so I could change my delivery option to web only. I was too overwhelmed by the number of emails. I enjoyed them, but I don't have a computer system. I access the internet using my television with WebTV. So, I don't have a chance to get on until after everybody goes to bed so I can have the TV to do this. It took me forever to navigate Yahoo. But, I did it ... and I'm quite proud that I did!

I think this forum is very easy to do, and I look forward to being here often to check in with everybody. I tried the chat room, but I can't do that - I don't have the necessary software to participate, and there's no way to get it unless WebTV downloads it to all users. I've asked, but they don't know if/when it will be available. So, I'll just content myself with being here with you and being with you at Yahoo.

I will be happy to email privately, too, if anyone wishes. Just let me know. I saved all the emails received during the first few days, so I will have your email addresses. AND if there's anyone who doesn't want me to save their address, just let me know and I will delete it (I promise!). I don't have a problem with that. I'll understand; we have to be careful these days about someone nasty getting our addresses. I can assure you yours is safe with me. Since I don't have a hard drive, I don't see how anyone would be able to access anything of mine.

I'm am so glad we're all together now. I've begun to think of you as friends, and I don't have enough friends as it is to want to lose any!!! :o)

I'm going to keep up with both of the message boards, until (or if) we all decide to stay with one OR the other.

At those prices, yes they probably are mostly silver. But I bought the last TSV line bracelet in silver and it turned out georgous. Paid about $75.00 for it and my husband picked up the tab as a birday present. So It really worked out well. I have purchased and returned a few Diamonique silver rings because I just did not like the look. But the bracelets look beautiful. Did you buy any thing when you were at Target? Okay everyone, now I consider myself to be a relatively intelligent woman, however, yesterday I must have checked in to this board about a dozen times and no one else had posted. DO YOU KNOW WHY????? Yes, that is exactly the one I have. It is very different looking for the ordinary line bracelets they carry, it looks very very real and quite antique. The stones are small enough so it is very believable (lousy speller). I purchased it when it was a TSV but it was the same exact price that they showed it at yesterday (I saw it too). Morning everyone:
I have changed litter, swiffered all my floors, did the food shopping and just finished with 2 loads of wash. Husband just left for work and the rest of the day IS MINE HAHAHA.
Good to see you GERIANN, this board is just like our old one, very easy to use. Lady, when I said in a previous post that the Diamonique bracelet we both like is different than the ordinary ones, I didn't mean to say that any of them are ordinary. I have 4 of the line bracelets 2 in gold and 2 in silver and the other silver one I have is the standard looking one with the round stones and I love that one too. It's just that this one has a different twist to it which I love. If I were you, I would get it, wear it and if you decide not to keep it, send it back. God nows I do that alot. Because of the Easter Sunday holiday, Winn Dixie only had one cashier working and the lines were around the store. Has anyone else encountered this problem this morning.

I turned my computer on yesterday, and there was the notice above. I think if there was going to be a moderator, we should have taken a vote. I for one think it should be Geriann when she is up to it. She is a huge Kathy Fan and she will keep the focus of this board on Kathy. She can also continue her Fan Club idea going. Geriann, if you are reading this, what do you say??. I for one have a full time job, a full time family and home to take care of, and I do freelance accounting work at night. Let's take a vote because if this is going to turn into another full time job, as they say in the TV show The Soprano's, " Fagetaboutit" . SWEETROSE, I am absolutely sure that RachelR knows about this board too, and if she wants to, she will check in. I miss her also. How was everyones Easter?? I missed all of you :(

Just went to the Old USA Board and read Kathy's message to Gerriann ( I hope that"s spelt correctly) I was glad she did that.I have been really sick this week but beginning to see through the fog and am getting back on track. As I said on the other board, Tootsie you are the most like Kathy so I guess you have been drafted to do the job. Incidentally, Tootsie, my daughter is an accountant and is taking the CPA again in May. She is a very bright girl but also finds it difficult to pass. She already has "two legs" of it and missed it by three points last time. Hope that makes you feel better. I dont know about you but she is always so busy working (she works long hours) that sometimes finding the time to study is difficult.

I was wondering where you have been. I'm so sorry that you are not feeling well and happy to see you here. Good luck to your daughter. I will not try to sit for the exam again. I guess you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. I had a friend a few years ago that signed up for a training course for the examine where they sequestered the people in a room for 3 days straight and as soon as the three days ended, they went in and took the tests while all the info was still fresh in their minds. But that's not for me. I'm happy with the schooling I have and I still take some refresher courses mostly on the new tax laws. My fingers are crossed for your daughter.

beckyRN.....Kathy got married in Dec. 2000 to Steve Taub. He is approx. 10 years older than her. He is an engineer and a pilot. They knew each other for 2 years before getting married. There are pictures of their wedding posted on the USA site. Kathy's show was not picked up for the 2001 season. Welcome aboard to this site. We will enjoy having you here.
