She's very pretty BUT that only goes so far. Her vocabulary is just plain dumb so she's not easy to listen to at all. AND, dumb means BORING!!! Did she finish high school? I am serious in asking this question. I'm surprised she doesn't BORE HERSELF!

I'm not defending Lisa or any of the hosts, but just exactly how much can you possibly say about a Eureka vacuum cleaner or an Aero bed? These hosts can't stop talking for more then 30 seconds at a time and some of these products are actually boring! Try talking about one candle for 3 minutes! how much can be said about a candle? I know I wouldn't want the job and I'm educated and never at a loss for words. All that's needed is a gift of gab and gab about the things that no one is really interested in buying!

I feel bad for speaking so harshly about Lisa R. We did see her in person and she was much prettier in person than on TV. However, she has started wearing make-up that looks overdone and hideous! True, it is difficult to gab about a candle for thirty minutes, but the things ahe says sound so annoying!

I always hesitate to say anything negative about Lisa R because she has such a following and the first line of defense is that I must be jealous. I'm not. I could never do her job and my hat's is off to her. You are right when you say how difficult it would be to wax ecstatic about an aero bed or electric potato peeler. I do have 2 problems with her though. If I went into a "high end" department store to buy cosmetics and the salesperson had dated lips and stringy hair like Lisa's, I would seriously consider going to another counter and/or store. Please do not tell me that she needs those lips for the camera. Judy Crowell doesn't have them, neither does Jill Bauer or any other of the female show hosts. Also, I can't stand the way she talks over the vendor be it Jeanne Bice or Leslie Blodgett. Again, if I went into a fine department store and one clerk kept interrupting the clerk who was selling to me, I would seriously consider talking to the manager. She is lovely to look at, that is for sure. But I wish that QVC for spring for a make over for her, especially the makeup.

Jack, you don't have to have brains, in order to spend 3 minutes talking about a scented gel candle. Thank God for jobs like these, so that the Lisa Rs of the world can work! I'd rather have her flapping her jaw at QVC, then behind an OR mask, with a scalpel in one hand and a pint of blood in the other! Trust me, Lisa's perfect for her job!

After Kathy L. left and now that Pat J.D. and Jane are cutting down on their time, Lisa has really been showcased more and more. She pops up everywhere. I guess a lot of viewers like her and she must sell tons of items on the air. It surprises me that many people suggested that she should replace Kathy Lee on Regis's show. I think there could be a lot of candidates before going to Lisa. Anyway, Kelly Ripa is there now.

Lisa certainly has a lot of confidence and the ability to find endless things to say about any product. I can take her in small doses but rarely sit through an entire show if she is hosting. Everything she shows is "really, really amazing" and she loves everything so I just don't feel I can trust her when she presents a product.

Lately, her makeup makes her look like Endora from Bewitched.

It's those fake eyelashes. Who in the world would wear those hideous things. Plus, if you notice, she can't stop blinking. The lips and the hair are horrible and being that she is on TV, you would think she would have a more modern edge to her. This is a woman who is suppose to be "hip" and doing the PM Style? If that is hip, lord let me off!
