I just turned on the ring showcase and Lisa is on. I never really thought about how often she uses the word amazing until I started on this website. I am not trying to make fun of her, I am sure their job is much harder than it looks, but in less than 10 minutes she has said amazing 7 times. I just was laughing because of all the posts on this subject. She really doesn't annoy me terribly, although she is not my favorite host. My sister on the other hand, will not watch when she is on. To each their own I guess.

I posted a comment about Lisa on another thread about her. She has quite a following, so you have to be careful sometimes and they always come up with the old chestnut that we are fat old hags and we are jealous of her that's why we make these comments. No, it's just that she talks over the vendor, has a limited vocabulary (pheNOMenal and aMAZing), and seriously needs a makeover for her stringly hair and dated lips. I think she has so much potential, she just needs some coaching. I like her sense of humor and enjoyed her with the Quacker lady yesterday but doubt seriously if she would ever wear her clothes.

As I posted earlier, I think Lisa R is the new "Kathy," just like Kathy Levin, she always had the prime spots and shows. I'm sure Jane RT and MBR are foaming at the mouth, since Lisa is now everywhere, everytime. I don't really find her annoying, or think he appearance is bad. Yes, the heavy lipstick has to go. Everyone seems to be harping on Lisa's look. Kathy Levin wasn't a beauty by a long shot, but I guess she kind of grew on everything. I wonder what the seasoned hosts think about Lisa R being in the spotlight. I bet there are a lot of off stage cat fights.

Picky Shopper....Here's my Take on Kathy Levine.NO she was not a beautiful woman.
BUT I think what made her so pleasent to watch was her sense of humor.And she was able to poke fun at herself.She knew what she was doing and did not take herself so seriously.She even started calling herself a DIVA ..it was all just to get a giggle.None of these hosts are going to find a cure for Cancer.They are the same as any salesperson in any store you shop at.Be it Target or Neiman Marcus.Some you'll like, others you will avoid.But that does not stop any of us from shopping for something if we like it and the price is right.
Kathy has been gone a long long time and yet it appears from her following she will always be a favorite at QVC.I don't think anyone who is on now will be missed if one day they just don't come back on.

$pender, I have no affinity with any of the QVC hosts or the former Kathy Levin. I had to send back every single item that I ever ordered from QCV, so no one on that channel can sell me swamp water! I'm just amazed at the allegiance some of these Kathy Levin fans. I'm sure her life went on after QVC and she probably wants other's to carry on. even if she would ever return (which I highly doubt), she still can't sell me a thing.
QVC is only a background diversion, since I'm no longer ordering from them. I watch QVC as I'm folding the large piles of laundry or ironing. Kathy may have called herself a diva, but a real diva (in my book) is someone who really makes a difference in someone's life and changes the world for the better. Kathy Levin doesn't fit that bill.

Oh boy! I hope nobody really sent QVC or Lisa all of Steve’s posts. I like Lisa so very much--since her beginnings at the Q. I would say that I’m in the top 1% of those that know anything more about Lisa than just her name. So I’ve seen what QVC does to websites when they find out if anyone says anything disparaging about Lisa. They get it shut down period. Basically, if they find out someone has been saying sexual or bad things about Lisa they get the site shut down. They must use their high priced lawyers and threaten lengthy lawsuits. Be it GeoCities, Yahoo, or a lesser know host. I’ve seen Lisa site after site get shut down. If Steve’s postings have been sent to her then I hope that QVC can let it slide.

Hey just read some of the posts, and as for this "steve" issue, I think its okey to like a host and admire them but to be so out of control is not only stupied but rediculous, If I were Lisa I would seriously be scared for my safety after reading some of "steves" posts because she did have a stalking in the past and "steve" seems to be heading that way.
